I think it's because ultra came early to them and regular s22 arrived a bit late and also more people wanna talk about the expensive one but yeah you're right.
Ultra model is overrated imo It’s uncomfortable especially the unnecessarily large screen and extra camera lenses which are kinda useless for daily use.
As an iPhone user, I can admit that the galaxy S 23 lineup is pretty impressive, I always really enjoyed the galaxy S series and the galaxy note series. it’s even greater that Samsung has combined both phones together. It’s sad to see the OG galaxy note go away, but at least it left a huge mark on the smartphone industry. heck, the Galaxy note somewhat prove even Steve Jobs ideology wrong.
As a Samsung galaxy user I hate how they merged the note in the s series. Everything below the ultra phone has been nerfed. The old form ultra factor is much better. iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 pro max much more similar than s23+ vs s23 ultra. Both $1000-1200
Oh I agree with you, even though the galaxy S 23 ultra is impressive, when it comes to my overall favorite android phone ever it would have to be the Google pixel series. The pixel seven is really impressive.
I've always preferred carrying small aesthetically pleasing phones In my pocket. Form factor is incredibly important to me so I will pass on the plus and ultra myself, great review of the standard model

Don't get your hopes up. I ordered mine last Thursday, which was meant to be delivered on Saturday. Got an email on the Saturday morning saying it's been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Now the delivery date has been changed to the 25th. 😩
should have gotten the plus if you wanted battery life it has like 50% bigger battery, the bigger screen size doesn't take up a lot power so your battery life will last much longer
Update: it arrived today, first day of use, just stunning, battery is amazing for now, screen is amazing, cameras are great, i didnt even expect to notice difference in normal usage compared to s22, but its really noticible, i didnt want plus, bcs of the size, i love small phones, this is probably the best one i had, definetly worth the wait

One really can't go wrong with Samsung products. Quality stuff! What bothers me is when things go wrong (Support) and with updates, even if they've improved. @@nikosbn7079 I am not talking about one handed usage. Samsung's ultra series are not ergonomically sound. It is pretty top-heavy as the camera housing displaces a lot of weight. Also, the weight of the s23 ultra is 234 grams. With any cover, it will easily go up to 280 grams, which is even more than z fold phone. I know this very well because I used the s21 ultra and have used the s22 ultra. Plus is still decently weighed at 196 grams.
I need some help. My dad got me the s23 ultra and I think it's probablz the best phone right now (the cameras, pen, battery...), but I personally don't really like big phones. Is it worth it to switch to the s23 since I like the size and design much more and I don't think I'll be using the camera zoom or pen really often, or is the ultra that much better than it and I should keep it?
The biggest disappointment and annoyance is the fact that they're still using 1080p screens on the s23 and the plus model. If coming from an ultra model down to the plus and regular model, I notice a different in the screen quality because it doesn't seem as vibrant and sharp. If they could either add 1440p to the regular models, or make a smaller ultra model, I'd totally go with that. I love the ultras, but just tired of it having to be so big and heavy. I'd definitely say the ultra model is the best value if you're pre ordering with a trade in. It seems you get more credit for the ultra, and you're really not saving a lot of money by downgrading to one of the smaller models. Tell ya what though, I played with these at Best Buy and I definitely noticed the improved performance. Buttery smooth, lightning fast.
Who cares about 1080, the pixel density is more than enough for the human eye and using 1080 will waste less battery overall. 1440 in a small screen is a gimmick.
In addition the ultra is light and both olis and ultra handled with bith hands.. niether plus is usuable with one hand... when i touch them olus seems like a midrange flaship and ultra a real flagship.. and yes pixels are obvious in plus guys.. i compaeed even with my s9 plus and the difference ia obvious

Nice Review!! Verizon emailed me saying I can give them my A51 and, for free, they'll give me one of these S23s. I'm not tech savvy and so I wonder if I should just stick with my A51 or trade for this S23? Any thoughts you might have would be appreciated! Also, I am reluctant to trade in my phone because I don't like the idea of some tech person somewhere basically getting to look inside my soul via the info left on it when/if I traded it in. I don't have any "bad" stuff in it, but I still, I have a problem with allowing such a thing to happen. Got it for 11 a month for 12 months. Traded in pixel pro. Only had the pixel 18 months just to big and buggy. Managed to get the last bit of stock as s24 is now out

Problem is the thing that matters to most is still a smidgen worse than the Pixel 7 at 3x the price and that's camera.

You can also play emulators on the samsung and on the s23 handles wii games that wouldn't be able to run on a s20

My regular S23 notification sound comes out from the bottom speaker only and not from the top ear speaker. Is that normal or my phone faulty?

I also got the S23 in green, but how come yours is different. It looks more like the green from S22 last year that's a darker green. Did your order it from the website? But that one's lime...even brighter

As a Samsung user that made the foolish choice to take a 13 pro max years later, I have learnt it’s best to wait at least 2-3 years before upgrading lol Samsung s24 will be my next phone for sure

I was going between s23 plus and Pixel 7 pro but the only thing i didn't like about the pixel 7 was the camera design in the back 😒
