    Another very welcome message from you, John, seeing as it's been another day of frustrating bureaucratic hurdles to overcome. In the bigger picture, they are insignificant, of course. Thank you for reminding me what's really important. Blessings to you both, John and Phil. 💗🙏

    Dear John, the Lily’s of the field, and the birds of the air as teachers humble me when I look. But I feel so far from the faith that I fret and worry about gathering supplies and concerns into “barns”. I fear my own lack of faith in this regard: if I were to leave all concerns behind will I not starve and thirst, grow ill and perish? This is my fear. Your stillness directs me beyond words, but I fear not being able to throw myself headfirst into such non-concern. Thank you John.

    Created by Mother nature from darkness, I am shaped by the Father with light. I am a process of chaos and order, thus will never reach the end until I dissolve into the realm of Heaven, to completion.
    What the infinite lacks, is the finite. Thus the eternal stillness will always be with me. And I will always be with the eternal stillness.
    Bless you, John. Thank you for your insight.

    A bit 'off topic' I regret but I wonder if 'procrastination' is a considerable topic for those like myself who are the more spiritual types. How in the.... 'heck' can I STOP procrastinating when I *really* need to get things done! A DAY can go by with me saying... 'just one more video' or 'I'll start at 11' or whatever.
    Sometimes I feel that as my spirituality develops that perhaps I am taking advantage of thinking... 'everything will be ok... take it easy... you are spiritual!'
    I definitely need help on this matter - there are things that need to be done! I'm a number of years away from retiring, bills need to be paid!

    I have a question from a different direction: What about the people who say there is no god as we know it. That the word god and it's actions are just an invention of our human mind, and therefore all our methods are equally inventions of mind, not higher spiritual thing or force. How can i explain to them or make them realize that they are not in control? Their motto is "you live, you die, that's it. everything is here, nothing is after". How do we convince the non-convinced, especially when they have a point which is hard to argue about?

    • @susanbrown2909
      @susanbrown2909 4 роки тому +1

      ita40200 it’s called faith; processed by choice by a individual..don’t bother to try and convince others;sometimes its mission impossible, if people don’t want to know about it ..they will just waste your time, and there’s arguing about,it.
      I believe there’s a higher realm that designed everything,as nothing is ,or can be or work without design first.
      Man is a secondary designer, as God gave him the intelligence for that.
      So who is this designer:well ,if they want to call him God ,that’s fine by me.

    Dear mr Butler. I have a question for you. How should a young (I am 21) man deal with loss? Today my cat died in a car accident. I pikked her up from the street completely limp. Tried going to the vet a few houses away but it was to late. I stayed strong for my sister until my perants came home. But when no one looked. In my bedroom I cried harder than any other death that I saw in my life. Perhaps it was the way she went. Normally I would go to my friends to deal with this but now with corona, I can't. You probably saw far worse accidents and deaths in your life how would you deal with it? I have seen my great grandperants die of old age I have seen an uncle die of cancer. Had a friend that killed himself. But nothing hurt me more than my cat today. I wonder why I could stay strong for my family and friend but not for my poor cat. Please help me. A lot of thanks already.

      Bailey De Bruyne Dear Bailey, I’m so sorry that you lost your cat. My sister had a similar experience today, and she is also heartbroken. Her cat was killed by a car, someone else picked up the cat and informed her. If it will help you in any way, I’m convinced that your cat did not suffer because God made us and animals in such a way that our bodies switch off when we go through physical trauma: there is no pain for quite some time. God bless you.

    • @susanbrown2909
      @susanbrown2909 4 роки тому +1

      It’s is sad and very difficult at the time ,and surely even worse when it such a tragic way they are taken from you ,or be it from old age.
      We get very attached to animals they have unconditional love and you cherish them dearly.
      I’ve lost several animals over the years,it doesn’t get any easier to deal with.
      I give them a dignified burial ..and set my faith in the good lord ,that One day I will be reunited with my family and my animals again and join them in a spiritual place and will be happy ..that’s all I can think ,there is.
      I pray this is the case.

    Dear John,
    You refer your listeners to and quote from the scriptures often in these videos
    Do you believe that the Bible is the word of God?
    Do you believe that every word is pure and inspired of God as it says of itself as well as eternal?
    Proverbs 30:5
    Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
    2 Timothy 3:16
    All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:correction, for instruction in righteousness:
    17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
    Matthew 24:35
    Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
    I look forward to hearing your response :)

      Eternal lives matter great question! you wont here from John or Phil. They will not publically give Jesus the glory. They don't want to offend their audience becuase its a sales program. Imagine telling their audience its only through Christ one can enter the gate and into eternal life? It would cause a riot! the subscriber list would shrink. Most of this audience are new age spritual seekers...All paths lead to ROme. This message is a blend of New Age (mysticism/God conciousness) and lukewarm Christianity. The true Gospel is a sword that divides because what it says is the path is narrow and the gate is small.

      Be cautious about taking the words of man's ink as that of God. The Bible was written hundred's of years after Jesus lived, and was composed by Bishops, who dismissed more than they accepted as canon. Wonderful writings of Jesus, such as St. Thomas's gospel were discluded as they were "dangerously spiritual" at a time when the Bible was being compiled to serve the basis of law. There are many meaningful words in the Bible, but it is clearly and historically the work of man.
