@darkwilderness2392 absolutely, Man 💯! Just finishing it up rn 😁! What happened to poor Boss, and his owner, Liam, breaks my heart 😔🥺! My Husband and I have a white cat named Frosty, and if anything happened to him, I'd be absolutely heartbroken and devastated 💔! He's our Son💖! Back in my home state of Indiana, my Mom and two younger siblings still have Fenway, our Irish Setter, Pixie, a sweet black pitbull mix, Pippy, a grey and white American shorthair cat, Ivy, our Tuxedo cat, and Teacup (Tiki), our Calico cat, and they're my babies, too, and I'd feel the same way if anything was to happen to any of em 😔💔! I grew up with Cats and Dogs, and animals have an incredibly special place in my heart ❤️! Anyways, thanks for doing your awesome narrations as always, Man! My husband and I love drifting off to sleep while listening to your videos, and I love to play video games while listening, too 💖! Much love and peace to U and your Family from ice-cold western Pennsylvania 💖✌🏼☮️!

@@darkwilderness2392 My God, that's gotta be absolutely frigid, man ❄️🥶! I've lived in PA for a little over a year, and can honestly say that it's definitely colder where I'm from. It's drier in my part of my home state, but in NW PA, it's closer to lake Erie, so we have a much moister climate, whilst my home town is close, but not close enough, to lake Michigan. We're close to the great plains, too, so we get tonnes of Arctic air from y'all. I believe we had roughly a -30° F wind chill in 2022. I believe in Celsius it'd be around what u had described. This part of Pa gets much more snow, though, and roughly 60 miles north of us, Erie Pa got 5-6 ft of snow this week ❄️. I believe the government declared it as a state of emergency. Anyways, sorry for ramblin' on! Keep on doing your awesome narrations, man 💪🏼 ! We're all incredibly happy to see U again 😊!

Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated! Falls a busy time for me with hunting and mentoring new hunters out in the field. It takes up most weekends from end of August to December. Combine that with my day job, and I’m pretty worn out during the week, and can only film when the kids are in bed. Filming nights I usually start around 10 and am up till 2ish, editing nights are about the same, and it’s up at 6:45 for work lol. For next fall I am going to prerecord a bunch and schedule them to upload so that there are no gaps in my uploading.

Awesome story. I can see Roan Mountain from my front porch. I went on a hike up there one time with a girl I briefly dated. She grew up there. We got lost somehow, and as it was getting dark we started to find our way back to where we parked. The whole time I felt like I was being watched, but didn’t say anything about it. She grabbed me at one point and asked if I had anything to protect us. I just had a small knife. After we got to the car, I asked her why she asked me that question, and she said she thought we were being followed by someone. I haven’t been back to Roan Mountain, but plan to do some hunting there when my son is old enough. Now I always carry a .357 magnum or 10mm when outside

I’ve lived in E Tennessee, hiked it, camped it and hunted it, my entire life, but have no clue what “the bush” is. I thought that was in Australia. Someone please tell me what that is. I’ve only heard that terminology on UA-cam.
P.S. Yeah, he knew he should run after Boss, all hunters know that and if they have their dog off leash, they are prepared to do so, they don’t have to ask “what do I do”…he was just too scared to do it. No hunter wants to live with that guilt. They go after animals, pets and humans for the same reason

@@crazypsychnurse9493 “the bush” aka the woods, is commonly used up here in Canada within the outdoor community to describe a forested or Wooded area. Since I’m Canadian, I tend to use Canadian slang a lot because it’s what I’m used to. Sorry for any confusion.

I live in KY. And there are parts of the woods we dont go in. One part is going into certain areas of the LBL.
But i have heard my fair share of stories where hikers, hunters etc was being followed. Had their kills poached. From humans that was feral/off grid.
Here they dont normally hurt pets. But they will take them. And the reason they will take someones dog is. Having a dog is a huge help when it comes to hunting. So they will take the persons dog. And basically retrain it to be theirs.
I have never heard of them killing dogs. But i do know feral people arent all the same. Some may just see a dog as another 4 legged game animal.
But if i had to choose.
Id rather goto the parts of the mountains where there are feral people. Over any parts of the LBL any day.
Over the years the LBL has gotten so much more dangerous. My dad use to hunt there. He told me stories of him being able to go hunt there and seeing so many 9+ point bucks. But now, seeing a big buck like that is kinda rare. And the deer population in general there has declined. As dogman sightings increased there, the deer populations has decreased.
There are a few more stories of people being killed in the LBL that people dont know about. Sure everyone pretty much knows about that family that was killed. But there has been more after them. And unless you know the people. And who to talk to. You will never know about those other deaths. The gov has kinda buried them. Bc of course the gov dosnt want people knowing if something like a dogman is real. And from what i know. Some of those deaths was so brutal, the only explanation there was. Was for a big predator to do it. And we dont have brown/grizzlies here. We have black bears. But even a big black bear can be scared off by a person. And black bears arent really common in the LBL. If anyone knows how black bears are. They know the chances of them killing someone are slim. (Im not saying they cant. Just saying that black bears are more scaredy cats. If they know something id gonna put up more of a fight than its worth. They wont even try. But there are unicorn cases. Like black bears that are rabid. And black bears that are on the verge of starvation, so they are pretty much forced to make a high risk move.)
But yeah. Feral people will wrap their feet in animal skins. Its not only a way to keep your feet warm. But its comfortable. And the animal skin is great at being water proof. As long as you do it right, your feet wont get wet with animal skin shoes. And it really helps with keeping your footsteps really quiet too. And it does help mask your scent.

Lost me at trigger all types of emotions. Was hoping it was an analysis, not a creepypasta.

Yeah was a tough one .a bit different but I lost a dog in Australian bush . Walked the scrub for over 2 weeks could sometime hear him before morning for a few days . In a area with Peat swamps I figured over time he must fallen in a big dry crack in the peat it was late summer . It's tough to lose a mate that went everywhere with you.

That’s horrible, I am so sorry you went through that. I can’t imagine loosing a dog that way. I had to say good bye to my best friend, my husky/shepherd cross unexpectedly in Feb. was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. When we got our malinois cross a month later I wasn’t ready, but she pulled me out of my slump and is now my shadow. The story behind how we ended up meeting her is pretty crazy, almost like my girl led us to her (sounds sappy I know) but just seems like it given the circumstances. Glad we did though cause this dog is my shadow now…. Even sometimes refer to her as “my therapy pooch”. One of the best dogs I’ve ever met!

Oh yeah there would be a thermal purchase immediately along with a drone with a thermal and the hunt would begin.
