Here is a theory. 43:00 The first Attractorb you got was by a cat, which was moving and therefore the red gem flew tangential to you and went like 7 miles away. Then the second attractorb re-triggered that red gem and it just took a hella long time to get to you.
Nope, The problem is currently on the new engine when you trigger vacuum and you kill something the game isn't able to put the extra xp in the existing red gem, so it generates a new red gem and "steals" the xp from the red gem that is flying towards you. So there's a new red gem on the floor with all of the XP you wanted, and you instead collect a red gem that has like 1xp in it.
While the healing effect of evolved Garlic doesn't work if it can't kill enemies, it ALSO gets permanent bonus damage from all healing received after it evolves, and so evolving it early does actually add a decent amount of raw damage. I don't think the bonus damage won the challenge for you, but I suspect it may have saved you a revive at the end.
Yeah, it is unacceptable to lose the experience you earned. That definitely needs fixing. It is probably affecting everyone, but most people can't/don't even understand what they are looking at.
@@MikeyMile5411Definitely not what is going on here. We already know the gems stop dropping at some point. But all exp gets compacted into a red gem slightly off-screen. That is not what is happening in the video. In the video here the exp is getting lost, never to be found again.

Once I opened the video I started trying the challenge for myself and am under the impression that early armor is really essential then having either mirage robe/victory sword/bone to get you through early game. Looking forward to what ideas Dex came up with
Usually Mirage Robe worked differently or I am drunk. It would move out and cover a lot more area, meaning you don't even end up getting hit unless you get heavily overrun. It turned into one of my favorite survival weapons in recent times because it was so effective at controlling all the enemies. But when you can't move it's a different story, especially in a case where you don't know what spawns. Armor is top tier though, 0 arguing against that. I have always praised it so I share the opinion. Not really as an item because the game doesn't require it, but more as a power up to focus on early on

For some reason that doesn't happen when you try no movement so I have no idea what's going on with that
@DexTag not sure if they fixed it, but the issue with Mirage is that it does follow your direction. Unlike other weapons, though, it seems like it doesn't automatically interpret which way you're pointing when you pick it up, so since you never move, it just spawns them without any directional push so they just stack on each other instead. Victory Sword only works really well if you have Bloodline Arcana with it, since it has a counter-attack that counts as retaliatory attacks. Victory Sword is by far not a bad weapon as it covers multiple things at once, but it's not outstanding in a singular field. E.g. if you just want to be safe, then a counter-attacking weapon that mainly acts after being struck is not good, especially when the enemy striking you is a boss that deals 1/3 of your HP as damage. The pre-evo Muramasa for example can at least lifesteal, which means it has use beyond just retaliatory damage
You are correct. When you max out Jubilee, it gains a 'finisher', which is the colored lights on the bottom of the screen. The damage is fairly low, but hey, damage is damage.
Yes, but in case that's referencing me talking about cats losing damage, they had around 30-35 damage before limit break, after limit break their average was 20. And that's with all the limit break bonuses. I think something got reset or went wrong. You can check at the top of the screen where they clouds are, all the numbers are really low compared to the clip I show where all numbers are red
There's a limit of crystals that can be on the screen. After you reach the peak, crystals just wont spawn anymore. That's why that vacuum only gave you a single level, the experience was not accumulated from all the enemies, just from the first 200 or so. You can observe that you just stop leveling even when the enemies die on a very close range of, that's because they aren't dropping any experience
That's false. They still drop but get instantly accumulated into the gem furthest away, but with a certain distance at max. That's what I refer to as red gem, since well, it's red. As colors on the gems are determined by xp amount so it shifts to green and then into red.
You might hate me for this but.. I played alongside the video from the start and it only took me 2 runs. Had 4087 HP at 20 minutes, just had Limit Break at 19 minutes. Ouch, I felt your pain up to the 25 minure mark, not getting furniture was SO painful! Edit: I made it to 47 minutes in. This is too painful to watch now!
I only started playing this game last week and just unocked Leda, watching this content was extremely entertaining, the fact you have so much to say is very satisfying and pleasant. Please do keep up the amazing content.
First vid I've seen of your so idk if you've figured it out yet, but there is a cap on how many XP gems can exist on the map. Since you didn't take mad groove to rearrange the XP, too many gems ended up outside of your range and all enemies that died after that did not drop any gems. This is why when you got the magnet, you started leveling up again at a normal rate. The game is not bugged or broken, you simply chose poorly and got unlucky on top of that. Hope this helps.
I can think of 2 things that are making the level ups not work. 1: the red gem is not spawning properly so you only get the other xp 2: when a new wave comes, the old xp is despawned
These could be possible if I wouldn't have leveld up so much later on. I am pretty certain it's "just" a bug, similar to when Leda and Red Death weren't able to collect experience and items often unless they moved in a certain way. Which is really hard to do in a no movement challenge
It didn't delete exp. It's because of the map your on. If you actually see the dropped xp you were getting the early monsters until you got to 20 min. And the only gems they dropped were blue (the base starter ones) when by that time your base gem should have been higher. It's actually a map thing because that map doesn't care about actual progress you can get harder enemies early or weaker enemies later it does have a small margin to push in progression but the stage can still give you base enemies
Na, it's a confirmed bug in the game that was attempted to be fixed multiple times, where XP that flies in can get accumulated or fly past the player. Blue gems don't matter at all because the range of experience until later waves is only 0.5 to 3, so it's not like we are talking that the first wave gives 1 XP and the wave on minute 20 usually gives 20 XP. 0.5 is just the starter wave (that has a 50% to not give XP), and most have 1-2. But it's also not true that the enemies are random the way you describe it. The enemies are from a random map, on that minute timer. So if it's minute 12 on Green Acres, then it randomly picks a wave from any stage at minute 12, not minute 1 or such.
