    Landscapes are uncommon subjects for realistic pencil drawings (they're normally painted instead) but that's precisely what makes your works stand out. These are excellent. It'd be nice to see you do more.

    As usual, a beautiful drawing but this time in 4K! Thank you for this high-definition video. The lighting is really better too and I'm sure all your fans will appreciate it. It is very useful to see all the details of your drawing techniques. Your landscape drawings remembers us the greatest russians painters of the 19th century. I watch your videos in slow motion, I try to copy the way you do and I improve my skills for sure. And for that, you deserve all my gratitude. Thank you so much !

    Wonderful, Sergey. I have the impression you have drawn that scene many times from memory. Your attention to detail is astonishing. No photograph could emulate this. A photo is nothing more than trapped light. You successfully fuse your personality with an observed place or remembered experience. You have objectified a part of yourself for all time. Can you tell what pencils you have employed for this, please?

    • @SergeyLebedevArt
      @SergeyLebedevArt  4 роки тому

      Thank you very much Svend. Usually I drawing the places where I would like to be, but almost always it turns out differently, not what I imagined. Working out the details is not as difficult as it might seem.

    How To?? Great Artwork (that I saw from start to finish) at a million miles an hour! Sadly, the only thing I learnt from watching was, the tools of the trade in his hand change seemingly every time you blink! The music also didn't seem to teach me "How To Draw a Landscape with Trees and a Small River" Go figure?! Again - The Artwork is Incredible, I'm just saying a "How To" video needs Narration so that us Beginners/Students of Art can actually Learn "How To"

      Actually it depends on how dark he want the color to be, the most standard is 2b its soft and its medium darkness, great for landscapes and etud (still life) For example he used the 4b to add some extra volume on the trees. It just rly depends on how far or close u want the subject to be (far=darker, close=lighter) great landscape btw I am surprised how u draw without touching the paper I usually blush a lot xD
