I love characters like Clem, living in a such messed up world, she still managed to grow up very strong and decisive yet very empathetic and caring. This game is a masterpiece even with little to zero choice given to the player. The story is absolute best and forever in my heart ❤

Hate to tell ya this, but happiness in the apocalypse is a dwindling commodity. When someone is built up to care for someone less capable than they are, like Clem with AJ, and a mother-son dynamic is built up between them, its ridiculous to then immediately say, "Nah fam you on your own". Having Clem treat AJ the way Andy treated Woody in his dream is just top tier character assassination. Skybound and telltale created the perfect, and only, happy ending for Clem and AJ. Aside from that, making Clem act like Jane, knowing full well that people with strong wills and kind hearts like Lee, Kenny, Javier, and the lady from Wellington, is so out of character for Clem. Even if Clem went with Jane at the end of season 2, Clem is constantly worried about what Lee would think of her as a parent during season 4, something Jane wouldn't have been able to stop her from doing. So Clem endangering an entire town full of survivors to make a point, leaving her home (which she helped save), and abandoning AJ because "he doesnt make her happy" is poor character writing and extremely poor continuity with the established character.
