My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 24ft 2002 Ford Bigfoot Class C and tow either a 2014 lifted Smart Car named “Tater Tot” or my 2012 Harley Softail Slim named “Black Betty” in a 6x10 trailer. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

Pointing out the facts of weather is not "complaining"... It's pointing out a fact and documenting. Just because the rain, wind, and flooding is negative, doesn't automatically mean anyone pointing it out as fact is "complaining". You can interpret facts all you want, but don't put YOUR words into others that aren't there.

Happy to watch the nascar content this weekend. I will be at all the races this weekend just camping not in the infield. The weather looks great for the whole weekend thankfully, but I can’t wait for this. Have fun as well
Weather all over is crazy…I’m in south Orange County, CA, and we still have quite a bit SNOW in the mountains! From severe drought to excessive rain and snow with some flooding. Stay safe and have a great time at Nascar.

At least your in the heart of all the great fun inside the track!!! You’ll enjoy the activities they do inside the rv camping inside the track. FYI, there’s a tunnel for pedestrians that you can take to the outside behind the grandstand where all the apparel is going to be and other activities it’s just left of the restaurant on the Enfield just passed it this way you don’t have to walk through the north tunnel and all the way around Because that’s like over a half a mile walk save yourself a lot of steps by going through the pedestrian tunnel.

I’m in Texas visiting family…the storms we’ve had the last couple days are crazy and after the rain ended the wind started blowing and it got cold. I can sympathize with you Eric, I hope they can get everything ready at the racetrack and that all goes well for you😀

I'm from Indianapolis & have lived in Daytona too. Spring racing is always rainy, never fails. But the temps are usually better for rubber on the track. Also in Indy they always want to do road work from the winter salt damage just in time for outta town Race fans, lol.
Eric go to Eureka Springs for the rally. There a local RV parks available.

In Pa. they are not allowed to open anything in your RV. Pocono raceway they just ask you if you have any weapons or fireworks.

I’ve been in the Alabama Shores and skedaddled as soon as the weather hit Mississippi and fortunately avoided it all. It was lethal.

You should consider smart tags for your pets. One of my cats has ben missing for a week. I wish he had a smart tag. I wont make that mistake again

Actually most Harley dealers I've encountered will let you store your bike there, for a fee of course if you're not getting any work done. I've even run into some that have winter storage. Keep the good stuff coming buddy maybe I'll see you if you make the MIS race.

Hoping that you don't get stuck in mud when it's time to leave. That large screen is awesome but I think that the RV that goes next to you will block it. Maybe they didn't rent that space. When you need to wear the wrist band, are the snack bars very far to walk to?

Also, in terms of lithium batteries, I think they like to be down to 40% or 35% and charged up to like 80% so don’t worry about fully charging them all the time when you really don’t need it. Don’t get range anxiety! If you do that kind of bad maintenance, you can get many, many more charges out of them by something like four times to 15 times more cycles.

Hey Eric!!! Hope you come to the Brickyard 400, or whatever the 200 mile road course is called now. I work in Indianapolis and always work the races inside the track. It's unique as the campers camp outside and the only infielders are the tailgaters who are usually too drunk to realize there is a race going on, haha. But it's a great race!!!!! And the regular people camp out for a few days in the "coke" lot, named after the Coca-cola plant it's by.

Aurora, Tx is 45 miles NNW of Fort Worth. It’s quirk is that a UFO crashed into Judge Proctor’s windmill on his farm in 1897. The sole occupant was killed in the crash. The locals named him Ned, after deciding that he was not from Earth, & buried him in the Aurora Cemetary. There is a small museum there dedicated to the incident, and a pulliver on the highway that overlooks the crash site. The story is told by many videos here on YT.
