Head for the mountains to stay cool, it’s usually 10 degrees cooler in the mountains without the humidity. And consider investing in a used gun cabinet to keep your Valuables safe bolt it to the floor of the van. And place the reflects on the outside of the glass rather than the inside, it stops the heat radiating through the glass into the van.
We have indeed headed to the mountains, its definitely cooler here at night. Thats such a good shout about the reflector on the outside! Never thought of that. We have recently added a safe which is bolted to the body of the van. Wish we had done it sooner, but you live and learn eh. Thanks for watching Gordon :)

When we meet up again in the UK we will have to get you on the rock when your body feels ready for it!! We usually have about 3-5 hours of footage to refine down to 20+minutes lol.

Yeah I would miss the math and science too much to pack it all in, so it's a really nice way to keep my brain active but while being flexible and able to basically do what I want lol. I know a few teachers now who have transitioned into full time tutoring. There is also a very good international market for online teaching/tuition but I've no experience in that yet, I'm all London based

We actually spent a few days parked down near Blois, had a lot of work to do so a bit of a stationary few days just enjoying the peace of the river and the sunshine.
Keely your amazing . This video with sister has given me a fabulous idea . When she first got in the van and her hair was down it looked amazing . Then Keely when you were in the water your hair was more amazing . So remember when Philly went like a year without coffee . How about a challenge where you go 90 days without putting your hair up . Down 24 hours a day for 90 days . Also I was wondering if you left a climbing mat alongside the road somewhere . Remember you put those e- bikes in there and I thought there was only room for one mat . I see now both of moms matts survived .
I can see I'm getting ganged up on here lol. I said to Philly I don't know if I could even last one week on this heat! It's like a scarf of hair. Maybe I will try for one week. I'll have to do daily posts on Instagram ahaha

You Europeans are tuff. You are dressed like summertime but it is only 37 degrees. That is only 7 degrees above freeze level. Just Playing and fun show.
A few people have mentioned that to us! The flames are quite big, maybe we need to reduce gas flow or something. But it does cook things nice and quick 🤣🤣
In campervans only the seats in the front are legally required to have seat belts. In the back seat must not be side facing, but no requirement to be belted. (From what we have understood from legislation) 🤞🤞
@@phillyandkeely That may well be, but take it from personal experience of involvement in a 70-80mph head on collision (each vehicle 40ish MPH), wearing a seatbelt, behind 2 airbags and steering wheel that it will not end well. In my case air ambulance to a trauma centre, broken pelvis, collapsed lung, induced coma (3 weeks) on a ventillator via a tracheostomy (6 weeks) followed immobilty in hospital for 6 weeks more, 12 weeks total, followed by life changing mobility issues..........just saying
Oh my goodness this is terrible 💔💔💔 I am so so so sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine the suffering you have endured. I am so very grateful we have not experienced anything like that, and so grateful for you sharing your experience to bring awareness 💗
