    "If universities have made a mistake"? Really? OK, here's how it works. Step one: I am an alcoholic. If you don't take this step, nothing changes. The university version: we are orthodox left. Now, say it like you believe it and you can take step two on the way to heterodoxy. If you falter and feel weak, call Larry Arnn or Robert George.
    Also, as long as your faculties are 90-99% left leaning, there is no hope for achieving the goal of heterodoxy in practice. As an example, I think it is pretty clear that Chicago has not lived up to the principles it is credited with establishing. You have dug a very deep hole. If you want to get out, first, stop digging.
