- Cooper Webb, Jett Lawrence, & Michael Mosiman handle three questions at the St. Louis Supercross. The trio answers 1) You get to ride a factory bike every day, but do you remember the first time you got to ride a factory bike? What was that like? 2) If you had to travel to all of the nationals in a van with one rider from the paddock, who would it be? WOW, Jetts comment was shocking!! Stock crf450 crazy vs his!!!!
His is much more powerful than a stock 450 but the mapping on his engine and the one you buy at the store couldn’t be any more different. Tuned and tuned and tuned until it applies the power to their liking. Would love to ride his bike around a field just to see the difference. I bet it is smooth. And always there.
My last 450 was a 2006 CRF450R which was very fast rite outta the box and beyond that they started thinking more about making it more rider friendly power wise I add things like twinair filter and cage but the best thing i did was an 11 oz flywheel weight made my starts so consistent which makes life so much easier and i only weighed 165 so that was also an advantage.

intersting how Jett points out the factory bike compared to stock is actually a lot less aggressive and basically slower so its rideable.
Jett rides a motorcycle better than anyone in the world. Hard to relate.
Not necessarily slower, but a smoother power delivery.
I really want everyone to answer the first factory ride question 😂
