the XBASS on the tribit is a preset, go into the app equalizer go to custom and bump the first to bars to full, then bring everything alse down to 25% and the last one 12500k to 50-55%, sounds great. I also have this combined with m phones eq for more bass, the things a canon, the best part about it is it sounds even better off of the straight shot all the way to 90 degrees to the side it sounds crisp and clean, the unit doen't know the meaning bad phasing.
Ranking the big speakers first clarity wise- XG500, soundstage- T9, bass- PB Encore, overall sound- Tribit Stormbox Blast, clock radio sound- T11. Now to the Portable ones clarity wise- Soundcore Select Pro, bass and overall sound- Monster Max, clock radio sound- X10.
The Sony doesn't sound bass heavy, full or busy with its limiter, has a lot of potential at its disposal. With an eq I bet he can beat every speaker in this Videoclip.
@@rubric_ra You don't want to admit it. When used with an equalizer, you get at least twice the power of bass, the Sony sounds much stronger and fuller. You don't have to believe it dude but then don't write that it's fantasy either, but test the Sony yourself.
Finally.. Bass wise ranking IMO : 1. JBL - with the clearest mid and upper range 2. TRIBIT - nice upper range 3. SONY - Blast's best H2H partner 4. T11 - the loudest mid and upper range 5. Sony kept the XG500 small and wanted to make purchase of the xp series attractive. The dsp limiter of the Sony only kicks in very late without distortion or something. The Sony allows you to boost the bass significantly more about 10 Dezibel for example 40-50 Hz. Also 60-8 Hz can be increased massively. Trust me the speaker is underutilized.
So now that you've heard the T11. Would you recommend 2 T11s or 1 JBL 110. I ordered 2 T11s but all the initial reviews seems to be that it's disappointing and underwhelming. I am strongly considering sending the T11s back and spending slightly more to get a JBL 110. I spent $368 before tax for the T11s only $32 more for a party box 110.
It may be a moot point now. It appears the T11 isn't returnable. I even went through some steps to see if I could initiate a return and no dice. Might be possible to swing it if you speak directly to a rep, but anything else won't work.
Nothing fancy. Front 3 speakers JBL Studio 270 L/R and 235c Center. I have a pair of Monolith THX Ultra subs. I use Sony Core CS5 bookshelf speakers w/the Atmos toppers as surrounds. 7.2 Onkyo receiver I've had for a while now. I do have a HSU VTF-15H MK2 behind the couch, but rarely ever fire it up. 😆
After listening to this quite a few times on 2 D10's LOL, I like the overall sound of the T11. They all sound good. But I'm waiting on my T11 order so... Didn't wanna be totally disappointed, and now even before listening to it live, I'm not. I'll wait to see what it sounds like 'live and in concert'. I'm more concerned about total sound quality rather than earth shaking bass. At the end of the day, any of these would do just fine if ur not comparing them to something else.
When the track started playing on the T11 you first hear the lower mid frequencies to have a muffled sound which gives it a hooting sound profile so I'm not really impressed with it and imo even the W-King X10 sounds better so its probably the worst sounding here if you ask me.
I love the bass of the tribit stormbox blast, sony, monster, and the jbl encore essential was the best for bass. My only question is what is the reason for wking to make this T11 bluetooth speaker, compared to the other wkings its just not doing well starting to look like a failure. Can someone please explain. The reason for the T11
