- Welsh has been a part of Lakai since our early days.
He is arguably one of the most influential skaters of his time, leaving an undeniable mark on San Francisco and most notably, the famous Pier 7.
Watch Griffin Gass, Tyler Pacheco, Rodrigo Gonzales, and Tory Hereford pay homage to Welsh on the City's sacred grounds.

Went to the Huf/LAKAI Headquarters Warehouse Sale in LA. I tried size 9's XLK Cuplsole mold which really really was sampled lite. As far as between lite XLK cupsoles which are flexible and durable on par with Nike's SB Verona Slip-On. LAKAI has solid foundation between Paramount, XLK, VLK Soles formulated. As always! Beware of the Flare All Things LAKAI -is a must and plus for the skate community!

The soles on the Telford are to thin. I can squeeze the heal of the sole and completely fold it fresh out of the box! It needs better construction.

@@JosephACampbellJr oh yeah I love the Telford, I rocked lakais all through grade school back when the lakai sky high was out. But they were just constructed better back then.
The Telford sucks. The only thing it has in common with the old shoe is the silhouette. It's cheap and thin, constructed with the bare minimum of material. It's designed to look the part and keep costs down. So profits go up.
All the comeback shoes are the same way.
