- Had a fun day today and thought I'd share it with you guys! I work at a bunch of different cafes across London so let me know if you want to see more...
The espresso recipe for my cafe just changed! We got a new El Salvador espresso in which is dosing out best at 19g in.
Subscribe for more!!
The taking-coffee-down-stairs part is nerve wracking. Other than that, cool chill vid. If I lived in London I'd definitely pop by, the food looks delicious.
Oh, agree, it's already kind of tricky just walking with a full mug. Haha
I have also experienced it
just imagine spilling coffee and there were people underneath!
Meanwhile I spill my coffee while it's still pouring into the cup...
I think the surface tension keeps it in the cup
This is so satisfying to watch, it makes me want to become a barista/learn how to make coffee like a barista.
paycheck is average at most, latte art is fun tho
You need to have a few broken dreams and a useless fine art degree or public work with $120k in debt then you’re qualified to be a barista
@@NaNa-rb7ouwhat does this mean?
Do you need a degree to be a barista?
@@ethiopiazoldyk4667 no but having no sense of purpose because you follow your dreams and got a fine art degree then fine out it’s useless to acquire high paying job, that allow you to make better coffee because of the extra level of bitterness
I love your careful handling of the coffee and your calm voice, you put way more dedication in your job than most baristas in a regular American Starbucks. You’re doing amazing mate!
Starbucks is more like a fast food version of a cafe, tbf xD That'd be like expecting restaurant quality service at McDonald's
As a barista myself I’m soo jealous, your environment is chill and the environment I work at is busy busy busy constantly 😂😂
Been lurking your channel for a bit, saw you pop up on my recommended about 4 weeks back and I’ve fallen in love with your videos, they have a very relaxing and chilled feeling to them. Greetings from Ireland!
Thanks! Many more to come!
This place looks like such a cozy cafe😻 I’d definitely go there if i were in London. Cheering to you for always making amazing videos❤️❤️
Loved it! We would love more videos like this one 🤍
More to come!
@@ConnorDoesCoffee yash!
Just literally stumbled upon your channel literally last night and it is the best thing it happened, love your videos already!
We need more videos where you work, very relaxing to watch
Why this is so satisfying? Why this is what I needed at the end of the day
Now that AI is taking over, I'm subscribing to every UA-camr that truly vlogs their real life. New subscriber ❤❤❤❤
Hey Connor! Thanks for sharing your day, the coffeeshop looks pristine! Greetings from Colombia! ☕🌞
Please do more of these videos, they are so chilled and relaxing! :D Loved it so much!
Your dialling in technique is unique - great milk art!
Thanks!
It's been so awesome seeing your channel grow man. Keep working on it, you are awesome!
Love saving the bean for later haha. That iced long black looked delicious. That was my trend when I worked at Starbucks back in the day was I would make americanos upside down and one day a customer told me that is how they drink it in Aussie. Amazing. Great video dude! The science behind the espresso and soy milk is so fascinating. Perhaps the adding of cool milk chills the spro slightly, as to not overheat the soy milk. Very cool trick!!!
UA-cam compiled a list of Cafe content today, which is great because that's exactly the mood I've been in. You're the second video in the playlist, great video, love the way you filmed this! Will definitely subscribe. ^_^
i would love to watch more videos like this! 🫰🏼
More coming!
This is calming and enjoyable to watch
literally obsessed with ur vids! i watch em while i eat haha it’s entertaining
I just stick this on whilst I work and the combination of the sounds (music and coffee) is so relaxing to me
This is art !! I love your videos its so peaceful and calming
This just came up in my recommended and I love it 😊 makes me miss London so much 💞
“A lovely sunny day in the UK” oh yeah I remember that day.
The cat figure vibrating violently took me out
Hey Connor! You're so lucky to live in LONDON! I live in Nashville, TN, USA. I'd KILL to live in London. I visited there 20 years ago when I was 16 and I'e always wanted to come back! I was a barista at 3 different stores here in the US, one in Franklin, TN, one in Berkeley, CA and another in Nashville, TN. I HATED it. I'm not working in coffee anymore. Best of luck to you! I really love this vid!
Would love to see more long videos of you just working through a lunch rush or a whole day even
used to go to ur coffee shop as it was local to my uni, really enjoyed hiding downstairs and working, cool to see ur channel! :)
Such a good spot to do work
I love your videos so much! Cheers from California ☕️
I used to work here for around 6 months it was a good experience and a nice vibe too! 😊
It really is!
From someone who at most handles one caffine source a day, seeing you be on your third coffee before I usually wake up is really crazy!!
Loved this video! Consider this a request to add a few more of these into the mix. Love your content!
my local cafe!! how random! super good coffee -- always go there for the sourdough bread and the filter nomnom.
This one had a special place in my heart
beautiful video as always! love your mustache, man
Thank you!!!
I’v give a like before watching the vlog👍🏻
I love everything about that store and this video, so soothing! Craving a cappuccino so bad rn ☕️

I really love the vibe of this video!! Please make more!! Can i ask where did you get your mug? The ceramic one with blue design. It looks soooooo good!!
SICK 👌🏻MUSTACHE BROTHER! 🔥☕
Hospo lyfeee. Great vid, make more pls 👌🏼
The stairs, the stairs with your coffee. The stress I felt Lol
May I ask what camera you used? >.< Love your vlogs !!!
Just my iPhone 14 pro max!
Love these vlogs! V cool seeing you work at lots of different cafes. Why is that btw? Is that common for baristas to work at a few places?
nice video and I recently started working at a hotel kitchen and they have Starbucks coffee and Im learning to make coffee but that was true art of what u did
The soymilk thing: If it's anything like cooking and using eggs in some dough stuff I've seen, you gotta temper them. Pour the milk in slowly to not cook the eggs, and raise the temp slowly.
I wonder if it's going the opposite way here: A bit of colder soy milk to lower the temperature overall, and then the steamed milk to not curdle? Hell if I know what I'm talking about, but the process _seems_ similar.
very nice new cafe with an expert barista👍❤
Dude, this is the best coffee shop I’ve ever seen where is it at? I love coffee.
If I came to your store for the first time and the barista looks like that, I trust him.
God bless you brother!
Great vid luv the products - you’re a fab barista - where do you get your energy - I ❤️☕️too
Love your work.; honest and refreshing!
Can't wait to try that soya milk tip next shift!!
Did it work?
What in your opinion is your favorite brand of coffee beans? I really like notes like chocolate, strawberry and caramel, do you use anything similar?
Just trying to familiar myself with more different brands than I am used to.
Loved the whole vibe of the video. Keep it up man!
thanks i love so much this videos! see u next time
I could watch this all day 😅❤
Loved this video!
What is the brown powder you put in before the milk? Nice video! 😊
It’s cocoa powder 👍
this video was so soothing and lovely to watch!
Does your weekly cafe rotation stay the same or does it change?
all the coffee looks great💖
Thanks!
Oh I love this vlog
I loooove this so much
absolutely based
also I love your humor lol
I absolutely love your pourover dripper. Where did you get it?
3:52 Also I noticed you sync'd your taps to the music. Nice.
Loved this!
Im a barista and i promise you most of us dont wash our hands. Its not that we dont care, its just time consuming to wash our hands Everytime we touch something
Have you ever considered opening up your own cafe? You definitely know alot!!! I loved watching the vid!!
I used to manage cafes in the past, it’s a little too stressful for me. I prefer to focus my time and energy on quality drinks and connecting with people
WOW that soy milk trick is big brain. im deffo gonna use that now ty bro
Where in particular is your shop? Trying to pop in next week when i am over
It’s so peaceful I love it
That first drink was a latte. A cappuccino is made with cold milk and just foam.
I panic walking down a 3 step stair with a Americano and this dude just go even spining down a 12 - 15 step lol
I wish I had watched this video before went to London last year. Maybe next time I can have a nice coffee there :)
Love the precise measurements
Hey great vid, how did you became a barista tho? any tips?
I actually started at Starbucks lol! it was really fast paced and I picked things up quickly because of it. Just go for it! Anyone can be a barista!
I loved!!
how many cafes do you work at? and how exactly does that work? I'm just curious I have so many questions :D
All of them!! I have an app that lets me work at different ones every day
@@ConnorDoesCoffee But how then do you know the processes/extras (other than coffee) in each different cafe? I know making coffees would be roughly the same everywhere but surely the different tills, storage systems, food, set ups etc take some time getting used to and need practice?
loved it! thanks man.
ty for the video, comfy content 💚
Loveee this! What camera do you use and vest do you use for filming?
Its a chest mount and an iPhone!
Time for a connor does coffee on tour, you'd love the coffee game here in Berlin, come visit!
Hi Connor, love your videos! You look & sound so peaceful everytime.. Could you please tell me wheres this ring piece is from mate?
It's caffè* latte. Latte is just milk, not a coffee beverage. It's an Italian word often used incorrectly. It comes from the Latin word "lac" as in "lactose". That's why "milk" looks similar in most Romance Languages: latte, leche, lait, leite, etc.
Amazing vids bro! A cuestion, how do you film your videos? Thx!!
Nice vid man!
Thanks!
Well...basically to prevent from spillage is not to filled to the brim of the cup!
why didn't you wet the filter for the first pour-over?
I was in a rush that day
Omg!!, I wish I could work in this cafe 😢
loved the music you used
I love your vids! ❤
Thank you!
Ive been curious, are you working with a go pro on? Or do you use your phone to film?
Looks sooo good
This makes me not being afraid to get a job. I'm 16
That's the same age I started working as a barista!
My question is about suger..I never saw you serve customers with added suger or any refined suger sachet.
how does pay work for the guest shifts? is it a normal rate, half rate or no pay because of youtube monetisation? thinking of starting to get into this as a barista :)
Is there a reason for the espresso to be brewed over the ice rather than adding in the ice after ? 👀
Also 10/10 video and vibes!
I think people say that pouring the espresso on ice (or something cold) helps to trap more flavours in by stopping them evaporating.
less gooooo
كيف تعمل في أكثر من مقهى؟ هل جميعهم خبرات أو ساعات عمل رسمية في كل منهم؟ أنت مبدع جدًا وتجعلني أشتهي القهوة على الفور❤️🔥☕️
I use an app that lets you work at different cafes every day!
@@ConnorDoesCoffee awesome❤️!!
Hey Connor, what's your setup for filming in first person while still having both hands free to make espresso drinks?
