They're brilliant. If you're struggling to fit Conti GP5000 TLs these are the levers for you, even better than the Conti ones. Like having a tyre jack in your pocket. The other big benefit of them is that they operate on the inside of the rim so there's no risk of scratching up your wheel decals.
Best tyre levers I have owned. Never get inner tube pinched the wrong side of the tyre if you do like you did and follow the instructions and again like you did makes it easier to just finish that last bit by hand which doesn't warp the tyre too much.
Thanks! Useful video! They provide the instruction on the packaging but it’s still somewhat hard to understand. Seeing it in action is much more helpful!
I have a very tight tube tire combination and I was concerned that it would take an hour or so to repair on the road. I've used all the tricks shown on UA-cam videos and it is still very difficult. I purchaed a set of the Schwalbe tire levers so I don't get stuck in the middle of nowhere without being able to quickly fix a flat. It's peace of mind to know I won't get stuck waiting for an Uber that may not come or having to hitchhike with a Stranger.
Thank's for the tip, have you ever tried it on the Ice spiker pr 29"x2,25 wired version - even with this little trick you stille need power like a Hulk to get it in place, :-)
If you keep the tyre beads centre of the rim as you work around you’ll end up with less or depending on the tyre zero excess and it’ll fit a treat, granted some tyres can be a right chore! Park tool levers are good to carry as they do not bend at all! And can help others out too! 🙂👍🏻
Just discovered this feature too and had to buy new levers... But what are the notches mid way on the edge for??? Must have a purpose... Also, did ya'll know that the are licensing the "blue" from parktool?? Apparently they have a patent or something on blue biketools.... crazy
Park Tools has a trademark on blue. Not just their specific shade but any blue. This is over the top and some of their litigation has been pathetic. I won't buy Park Tools which are mostly overrated anyway.
next idea for next video.....have the music the same volume as the talking so everything gets mixed together. I mean, who doesn't like music competing with information?
@@1010AllOne Sorry, didn't mean to be a jerk. I'm hard of hearing and it's like two people talking at the same time. I'm sure it's just me. Have a good one
@@markwells7462 It's fine and to be honest a very valid criticism. I did genuinely think your comment was witty and it made me chuckle. Stay blessed and if I ever do another video I'll be sure not to make the same mistake. Maybe if I get some proper free time I could do subtitles for this video.
it appears to be compulsory these days Mark, everything from this sort of video to professional documentaries, history, anything.... not the complete meeja experience without muzak. (^_-)
Not with many tubeless tire/rim combinations. Some rims (esp. carbon) don't have a deep central well to give you enough slack to push things by hand by pushing the tire to the center, and the tires beads are understandably tighter than a kevlar/wire bead.
OMG, These things are AWESOME... Dude, THANKS, I finally got my Conti 5000 S TR's mounted!!!
Been using these for a long time and hadn't a clue. Thank you for helping me with my goal of banishing expletives from my cycling vocabulary!

I see/hear it snaps onto the inner side of the rim, but does it only do that with hooked rims? Is that feature useless for us users of hookless rims?
I'm not sure about that, sorry.
Never done this in my life. Much thanks.
I just bought a set of these levers and had no idea what the clip was for Thanx !
Wow, live and learn! Why is this not on instruction sheet!
Thanks

Thanks for this idea, I managed to do the same thing with my cheap RavX tyre leavers, and it saved the day :)

This is 'Old but Gold' I'm off to Wiggle for a set in 2022. Cheers
Oh, by the way, use the Challenge tire lever tool to help! It works!!!
Don't forget to check that you didn't pinch your inner tube between outer tire & run.
Yes, this is a must!

My parktool levers snapped. All 3 I am heavy handed though
@@chrishiscock3398 yeah I can attest to park tools not snapping, I didn't realise plastic can be that strong!!
Helpful 🎉 thank-you. Just been (unsuccessfully) using black gaffa tape to stop tyre coming off rim. Now I know 🙏😂
Thanks for the video, just bought mine and wasn't sure how to use the clip part.

ah never mind. for hooking on to the spoke of course.

Awesome video bro
Coool! Now I Don’t need to ask 6 people to get my new tires on :) thanks!
So far I haven't had a problem with using only one lever and having the other edge of the tire roll off.
Hellou is good match to MTB tyre? Thanks
Handy to know. Cheers.
Wow! That was amazing!
Those are tubeless?
No, with inner tubes

Isn't that back of the lever for this --> ua-cam.com/video/xy_YTZHz8qE/v-deo.html
Tyre levers not required.just seat the tyre correctly and fit by hand.Simples

Not any more. The demand for tubeless rims has changed that. Most modern tubeless tyre/rim combos are insanely tight.
