#MisterOrgan sees journalist and filmmaker #DavidFarrier (Tickled, Dark Tourist) unwittingly drawn into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a mystery man creating havoc in his neighbourhood, wheel clamping cars at a local antique store.
That clamper was Michael Organ, and little did Farrier know that delving deeper into who Organ really is would be a thrilling and tension filled three year long investigation - unearthing a trail of multiple court cases, inflated claims of royal bloodlines, ruined lives, and at least one stolen boat in this incredible true story of psychological warfare.

This was brutal to watch. It’s less painful to watch paint dry……I couldn’t wait to “get away” from Mister Organ.
Very intriguing documentary. Mr Organ seems to be a sociopathic sadist energy vampire with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Yes, this is an important point. Is anyone helping Julian escape this abusive relationship? Clearly, Julian is being exploited by Mr Organ, if this film makes any money I think the makers have some moral responsibility to at least try and help Jillian.
Watched this lastnight, was such a great watch with all sorts of emotions, especially if you have dealt with Narcissist/Psychopathic people in your life. It's a very good documentary, storyline & the music used was perfect. I also love David's personality & his voice is calming to me. I highly recommend watching this film!

The film is good, 90% of it is Farrier, seemingly confused and bewildered by this pit stain of a human being. You've found the world's biggest narcissist, he's so boring to be with because everything is about him or his take. He loves himself and the power of using people to control, perhaps this documentary will stop some of Organ's plots.
or perhaps he will enjoy being in the spotlight.

It's interesting but there's no real ending, I found it rather disappointing
Michael Organ clamped my uncles truck, and tried charging him $1300 for it to be unclamped. My uncle phoned a friend to come cut the clamp off which he did. Then he tossed the clamp thru Michael Organs shop window which smashed to pieces 😂 another time he was outside the supermarket countdown which was further up from his store with his miniature schnauzers screaming at the top of his lungs with some crazy woman who turned out to be his “partner” 😂 He was an utter nutter

I saw this earlier this evening - it definitely lives up to the reviews we've been seeing - and it's absolutely a David Farrier film! Some truly disturbing moments, and some genuinely cathartic ones. And I have to say, David sells himself way too short: he does a fantastic job of confronting that asshole fruit-loop.
As a person who still thinks Tickled should have won an Oscar for best Documentary, I actually cannot wait to see this.

When I watched this documentary. I was confused as to who was the real villain? A cranky, eclectic antiques dealer? The obsessive film director who documented his own litany of stalker-like traits? Got fined for stealing his property. I was left wondering. Who would have known about Organ, had this film not have come out? Apart from the recipients of the odd parking ticket? Heard of him since? Despite claiming it was an oh so unsettling experience. Farrier appeared to have obsessively hunted-down all his targets detractors. The net result was Farrier came across as creepy as Mr Organ.
Looks as good as Tickled was. Farrier is a great journalist and doco maker.

It's an interesting doc and I love farriers work but this is the most anti climactic ending I've seen in a doc, disappointing

I saw this today . Organ sounds like a textbook narcissist. Delusions of grandeur, very devious behaviour, vindictiveness , gaslighting people, controlling , mind games, physically abusive.

This movie is so Petty and stupid. It's one of the most boring and pointless things I've ever watched.
I used to live in Ponsonby and Grey Lynn and saw Michael Organ around a bit. I never had any issues with him at all. If memory serves, I spoke with him once or twice. He seemed a little off in some way, but, did not cause me, or anyone I know any problems. Now, I am sorry for anyone he did cause issues, but at the same time, this seems to me like the usual small town, parochial, gossipy, bitchiness, which happens a lot in NZ. Everyones got some opinion about someone else and its generally negative. Lame. I wont be wasting my time with it.
It’s a study of a narcissist personality. We absolutely should be nosy when someone is hurting people. Just because you didn’t have any problems with him, doesn’t mean that no one else did. Being nosy is human nature. We are inherently interested in one another. That’s the basis of all storytelling.
no, this is something very different. I remember when the young fellow took his own life. Michael Organ seems to experience some sort of personality disorder. He is a very dark spirit who enjoys mentally abusing other.
A story of two people, Farrier and Organ, both suffering from their own delusions, with way too much time on their hands. Farrier is seeking to create something grandiose, including the tension building sound track, but it goes no where with weak and bland subject matter. In the end, I felt like I was listening to tawdry gossip. A total waste.
David, I'm a big fan of your past work and your time spent on tv, but this trailer is a big miss. The editing is so bad that I have no idea what I'm watching. I'm going to give it a miss, sorry mate. Too many yes men around ya for this project, no one had the balls to tell ya it was rat.
