So I adopted your (baseball) practice casting method at our local park. I've caught 2 Black Labs, 1 Dalmatian, and a Doberman. All put up a great fight.
Tommy, Thanks for the vid. I went out today and tried your style. I am getting good distance. I particularly like the way you end up with your shoulders square to the rod and the cast heading straight out. It makes for an accurate and controlled cast. Thanks again Dave
Hey Tommy this is Catfish713 from PierandSurf, I really appreciate you sharing the link with me, I think it helped alot, should be getting in some practice time this weekend!
@ahmadillomon Is your sinker flying right or left of target?? If it is consistantly left then you are probably coming in too early with the power. SLOW DOWN. If consistantly right then try a slightly shorter drop, should bring you back on center. Tommy
hi! nice video, gave me motivation to resume learning. however, when i do this, why does the flight of my bait not go straight. in other words why cant i cast straight?

high Tommy love the vids, have you ever tried a Imax 4 stroke 6 rod?
Nice vid, well explained,just one question, what length drop from tip to lead do you use?. Would a drop from tip to butt ring be about right?
Thanks, that was really helpful.
@mattblvr

@RICHATLAST
Yes, drop down to bottom guide is what I use.
