    Made your pizza today and honestly it came out just like restaurant style! What a simple and perfect recipe, this is a keeper for me. Thank you for developing it as I have tried a few, this by far is the simplest in ingredients and process. I've been on Keto for for 4 years and when a recipe like this comes along, well I add it to my arsenal of fool proof recipes. I am grateful. :]

    This is the one!!! And I’ve been searching. Tastes just like the whole wheat pizza crust from my local co-op. I made it into two small “pan” pizzas using greased cake tins last night and broiled them for the last minute or so because i like my cheese browned and bubbling. DEE LISH. I’m going to try making a double batch and freeze them into portions after the rise. This type 2 girl thanks you from the bottom of her heart. After eating half a small pizza, my sugars never rose above 104!!! ❤️

    🤤 We love using vital wheat gluten in our breads! My parents are also doing keto for almost 6 years now and we don’t miss the regular bread! Now, I have to plan our dinner tonight with this recipe! Thanks Miss Ketoserts!🍕💕

      You could make a "dessert pizza" with a cinnamon crumb mixture using almond flour, cinnamon and sweetener.... or even with berries.

    The best keto pizza recipe I have tried, crispy bottom, soft and pillowy, just like normal pizza! Having said that, do not expect it to be exactly the same as normal dough. But I love the taste and the texture. Thank you for another amazing recipe!

    I gathered the ingredients and followed it. In my opinion this is the best of all low carb pizza. Our toppings were red pepper and pepperoni I made it today and shared it with my son. We both loved it!!
    My daughter says that low carb/keto?
    Approve by teenagers.

    I've tried 4 failed keto pizza recipes this week, i was ready to give up having deep dish pizza ever again until I tried this tonite. GUYS, PLEASE TRY THIS RECIPE. This is the real deal. This has no soggy bottom, no husk bitterness, no overly cheesy, no cauliflower veggie taste, no almond flour crumbling texture. This is a real pizza hut deep dish type of pizza that taste and smell like one.

    Wow, this turned out fantastic. It tasted just like a whole wheat pizza crust. It was fluffy, light and held together great. I did have a few complications with the dough, but it didn’t seam to ruin the outcome dough at all. While mixing, the dough didn’t want to come together so I had to add a tad bit more flour and it took about 15 minutes to knead in the mixer. When rolling out, it was really elasticity and wanted to keep shrinking up. When it went in for the first bake it puffed up quite a bit, even with the fork holes. Despite the few glitches, this is my go to pizza crust and I can see myself using it for other things like calzones and bread sticks. Thank you so much for sharing such amazing recipes.

    It’s 9 in the morning (PST) and I’m literally thinking about pizza toppings and combinations of ingredients 😂 and the other things I could make with this dough. Not just pizza! Thank you Ketoserts! 💕
    For a pizza, I’d use a garlic cream sauce for the base, shred mozzarella, chicken breast, scallions, roasted garlic & shred Romano on top! Yum yum!

    made your recipe today. i made one alteration, i put the dough with a coat of olive oil on a pizza stone for 10min. and the dough puffed up quite a bit. and then put the sauce and toppings and cheese. then increased the temp to 475 for last 3-5min. the end product was airy, crispy and the crust got nice color. also i suggest spraying the crust with water mist if its taking longer to brown crust. all in all couldn't tell this crust wasn't a regular wheat crust.

    I just made this pizza dough and it's a lot better than most keto pizza doughs. This one is more bread like. It tastes similar to a wheat crust. I'll definitely make this again with a few minor adjustments. Thanks so much for all of your great recipes!

    I made this today and it was wonderful! I cut the dough in half and did a personal pan sized portion for myself. I did a Greek style pizza with oil, Kalamata olives, feta, spinach, and grilled chicken. Yum! Thank you for all your wonderful recipes! I'm always excited to see what's next! :)

    Keto just means I can eat that whole pizza myself! I ordered vital wheat gluten from Amazon and can't wait for it to be delivered so that I can make this pizza pie crust. Now if Ketoserts can come up with a keto bread pudding or a keto rice pudding, I'd say that Ketoserts is truly a God! Thank you for posting this pizza pie recipe!

    I have got to make this pizza crust. I have gone through so many different recipes for pizza crust that I'm getting tired of always having to use cheese as a binding agent. If I get good enough, I'll just make crusts to freeze and use whenever I've a hankering for pizza. At least I'll find out if freezing the crust is a good thing or a bad thing.

    I made this today and I have to admit it's holy grail of low carb pizza doughs. I was shocked how well it was rising - after 2h it got x3 the size and I could remove it from bowl and hold it in hand like an inflated ball - gluten works like magic. I decided to stretch it on parchment paper by hand in a similar fashion as neapolitan pizzas are stretched (keeping the crust quite thick unlike on video). I made fork piercings, put all the toppings and put that in the oven - maaaan the crust started to rise again so well that eventually it got way too thick and my toppings got more condensed in the center. Insane. Even the center of the pizza got elevated! The result crust after 16 mins of baking had a thin chewy skin which was nice. The inside of the crust was a bit too moist to my liking but I'm sure I can work on this. Overall verdict is: Great, and it will most probably work for bread, buns and so on. And it is just the first time I tried this recipe. And did I mention I forgot to add erithritol :D ? Not even sure why I should add it - no need for extra sweetness there. Will definitely make that again every week with higher temps and some more/different ingredients. I love the fact that it feels like real pizza and adds fibre to low carb diet at the same time. Thank you so much.

    I use a recipe very similar to this. Not only does it make great pizza dough but it can be formed into French-style loaves, sandwich loaves with a bread pan, and flatbread such as naan. When I make naan it usually pillows up like pita. Adding caraway seeds and replacing the water with warm coffee makes a nice “rye” bread. Very versatile dough and the go-to in our house. I even serve it to friends who don’t eat Keto and they love it. Darlington, South Carolina

      William..if you'd be willing to share ingredients here, I'd like to see your recipe to compare.
      Many keto dough bread recipes I have seen are real eggy, so I was so glad to see this one was not. However, I made this dough today and, 1st of all, it is much darker than the one demoed, yet I am using the ingredients listed (including golden flaxseed meal). Even though my yeast was fresh and alive, it did not raise well. I put in a briefly warmed oven to raise and finally decided to work with it after 3 hours. I was very careful using digital scale measuring, kneading,etc. I will give it another try, but it would be nice to see a comparative recipe.

      No problem. 3/4 cup vital wheat gluten, 1cup oat fiber, 2/3 cup flax seed meal (I often replaced the flax seed meal with almond flour, slightly different taste and texture), 2 TBSP erythritol, 1/2 TSP sea salt, 1/2 TSP xantham gum, 1 cup warm water, 1 TSP yeast, 1 Tsp honey, 2 eggs slightly beaten, 2 TBSP softened butter (usually used EVOO for pizza dough). Mix all dry ingredients in separate bowl. Mis honey in warm water, add yeast, and allow to bloom (@5min). Add bloomed yeast to mixing bowl (I I use stand mixer) with eggs and mix; add butter and dry ingredients and mix. Once mixed, increase mixer speed a notch or two and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes. This will help form the gluten. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and set aside to rise. If my kitchen is cold I’ll preheat my oven for a few minutes and place the dough in the oven. I’ll also place a pan of boiling water in the oven to add moisture. For bread I let is rise until it is the size I want; 1-2 hours and bake it at 350 F for 25 - 30 minutes. For naan it only rises for one hour then I’ll roll it into a log about 12” long on a silicon mat sprinkled with oat fiber, cut it into 8-12 pieces, and roll it into 6-8” flatbread. I use a buttered electric griddle to fry the naan. For pizza, the dough rises for one hour and I’ll pull off a piece the size of a baseball (not softball), and roll it out into a 10-12” disc. I use a pizza stone in my oven at 500 F and sprinkle the pizza peel with almond flour so the pizza will slide off into the oven. It only bakes for 5-7 minutes and it is done. Hope this helps.

      @@cayce9320 Yes to the almond flour. I sometimes adjust the amount of gluten to get a stiffer or lighter dough. Higher gluten is difficult to roll out.

    I made it and it was delicious. I made my own topping and no tomato sauce. Crust is A bit on the dryer side and will adjust the baking time to see if it makes a difference. Overall. A success!

    What can one substitute vital wheat gluten with? Thank you for this yummy recipe..
    Is it essentialy just flour that's wheat and gluten free or what is it? Tried googling now and I'm still not grasping it.

      Vital wheat gluten is a combination of proteins, gliadin and glutenin. Your confusion probably stems from the fact that gluten is primarily associate with wheat, and its derived products, and bread and pasta made the normal way are definitely not keto friendly.
      Seitan is essentially just gluten. You make some wheat dough, to form the gluten, and then keep rinsing out the wheat starch until only the gluten is left. This is keto friendly. To make vital wheat gluten, you dry out the seitan, and grind it into powder.

    I ended up making this with Almond Flour instead, and it just tastes so good!
    The question I have is tho! With almond flour the dough is really really wet and sticky during the kneading/rolling phase, despite being well done.
    Do you know what I could add or increase to make it less wet without killing it?

    H, really like your channel. I made this but omitted the butter and erythritol, replaced the flaxseed with hempseed and the oat fibre with psyllium husk. Pretty tasty, and looked pretty similar to your video, but far too chewy - more so than regular pizza, also rolling it out was a bit of a work out!. What did I do wrong?

    A question - has anyone managed to make this into a really thin crust pizza, Italian style?
    When I use this recipie, I can make a deep-pan, but a thinly rolled crust ends up "balooning" in the oven, tried poking holes in it to prevent it becoming a hot air baloon but no joy!
    Anyone know what to tweak to make this a really thin cripsy crust? 😀

    Honey to feed the yeast yes much better healthier than reg table sugar. I was like wait yeast... Honey... I can't believe it's not Keto. Vital Wheat gluten was like the real alternative to low carb with breads and pastas before Keto really was a diet. This Italian approves and now wants that delicious pizza... 1.8g carbs per slice???? 😱 Two slices for me and I won't feel guilty!!! 🙂 ❤️

      I haven’t tried to freeze it without the toppings. Here’s what we usuall do in our pizzas. Just make it, bake it for 10mins at 425°F. Add your toppings, wrap in wax paper and place in a plastic ziplock. Let it freeze topping side up.
      Remove from the freezer and bake for 8-10min whenever you feel eating some pizza.❤️

      Hi Celestial! You can definitely use active dry yeast but you have to dissolve it into the warm water first with the honey. Just use the same amount- 2 1/2 tsp.
