      @@DrElsbecker71828 i have the same problem too after breakin em in and i didnt go TTS and went up .5 because im wide footed. Prob the reason why you're getting heel slippage is because the shoe is a lil long and narrow so that if u go up .5 or a whole size and not TTS its gonna give u heel slippage

    • @srikarvajjhula6021
      @srikarvajjhula6021 Рік тому

      yeah, the lateral movement was a bit sketch for me too. I rolled my ankle in them when doing some defensive slides because it lacked a bit of stability and the uppers were a bit thin. But other than that this shoe really did feel nice, especially with the cushion.

      I wore them yesterday; It felt like I was walking on clouds; I could feel my feet being propelled forward by the double stacked forefoot zoom; so they help make walking easier; less strain on your feet; and your leg muscles; I absolutely agree with his review!

    Hey Zach, sorry to bother but can orthotics help out with a basketball shoe that may feel too soft for you(kd14), primarily in the cushion area or do orthotics have nothing to do with cushion and how your foot tries to stabilize the cushion and also what type of orthotics would you recommend for the KD 14’s.

    Hello Doctor Zach there's also a thing called in Jordan shoes PF, in Nike I think it's called PE or XDR. Do you think the Jordan 36 PF will fit true to size on wide footers?

    legit question . wonder what are you thoughts on our feet conforming to the shape of sneakers and how you feet about barefoot shoes?

      Unless you wear a super tight fitting abnormal shoe from birth its kinda hogwash that whole theory- barefoot shoes are ok for some things and in certain athletes but the science just isnt there for barefoot shoes "fixing" foot issues or that most foot deformities come from shoes, theres some really really incomplete research spouted constantly about it- like i said barefoot shoes are great for some things but they arent the be all end all fix that is hiding in plain sight

    Can you make a video on where we can buy EP (nike) or PF (jordan) versions of shoes in or outside the Asian market? I have wide feet and just bought these shoes. Disappointed I can’t wear them

    Hey Doc, I have a question regarding the toe box: how much room should be left in the front for the second toe with a Greek foot? I have plenty left for the big toe, but only maybe 4 mm for the second toe. Is that going to be alright? If I go up half a size, there is too much room for the big toe.

    • @FootDoctorZach
      @FootDoctorZach  2 роки тому

      Yeah that’s a tough call- 4 mm seems ok but I’d have to see it in person to say for sure

    Low looks awesome but the lateral containment issue is tough to ignore.

    I just picked this model and color up for 60 bucks. I haven't bought an Air Jordan since the original model 11 (which I still have). For the price though, I can't be too critical of it.

    I want to hear others opinion on this also. So, I have the AJ 36 low for 10 days and I’ve been practicing in them since, for 3/ 4 hours daily. My opinion is that the cushion is just too much. And because of that, I feel like my foot is sinking in the midsole everytime I’m trying to make a more impactful move. So the energy return is not so good, also, I feel more fatigue after finishing the practice compared to when I wear a shoe with less cushion. So is there anyone out there that can relate to this?

      yes.. just returned mine for a pair of Luka 1s.. night and day diff.. feet felt frumpy in the J36 lows and never confident.. really think you need the highs if your lookin for the containment to match w the zoom units.

    hi Zach I really want to buy a new shoe but I do not know what I will buy. My options are kd15, converse bb shift, and anta kt7. I do not know what type of foot I have but the right foot is wider than the left foot. the right foot always hurts on the Kobe mamba focus I am using. I have a high arc. I also feel pain right side of my right knee and in the sole of my right foot. I play pg and usually drive, dribble, and fast footwork. what can you suggest to me?

    My 36 lows have really bad traction on an indoor court it feels like, somehow I’m getting better results with freak 2s and with my luka 1s in terms of quick lift at the basket aswell. I dunked a few times in 36s and each time I felt like I was jumping off ice
