hey zach please do a performance review on the air jordan 12 retro the one with all leather upper please i am a fan im from the philippines and a hooper too
Hi Zach - could you get a free international shipping on Move for us internationals? - we would still have to pay import customs fees, but it would help some - for us to get a hold of them.
@FootDoctorZach - I have had a pair of Game Day Pros and they have worked very well with the AJ35s! Very solid performance and unexpectedly protection from the side-effects of the eclipse plates (which otherwise irritated the foot). So, I have got a second pair of GDPs for the AJ38s! However, with the full length zoom being on top but crucially being narrower than the foot bed, the GDPs make the whole feel unstable. This is because the curve of the GDPs is a almost a reflection of the curve that the FLZoom creates leaving a lot of empty space on the sides. 😕 Interestingly, Nike's [cheap] insoles deal with this by being thinner in the middle and thicker on the sides! So, for the AJ38s, I have reverted back to the original insoles and will keep the GDPs for my next shoes.
Thanks for the review doc! I've been really enjoying the Jump 2s (4 runs so far) but this was also on my list of shoes to cop this year. They look so nice. Having said that, it does seem the cushion/shank set up is for lighter players. So as a heavy set center, even with orthos, I'm debating if I should grab these or just another pair of jump 2s.
Just ordered the Fundamentals this morning. Looking forward to putting them on the court. Great video. I'm going to try out some of the orthotics as well.
After Zach’s performance review from the outside, The Sole Drop’s performance review, and WearTesters written review, the Air Jordan 38 seems to be a very promising performance shoe, along with a spectacular appearance in my opinion. Looking forward to getting these on court to see for myself!
Apparently the 38 has a few callouts to the Jordan 8 in the design, the X shaped plate on the bottom was inspired by the X shaped straps on the 8. And the lateral upper design is a reference to Jordan's stats in the 1993 Finals (played in the Jordan 8). Medial is the Bulls' record in the 92-93 season Lateral side: 41 crosshatches = 41 points per game, the squiggly pattern is 6.3 assists per game, and 8.5 lines = 8.5 rebounds per game Medial side: 3 diamonds = 3rd championship, 57 tally marks + 25 chevrons = Bulls were 57-25 in the regular season looks like there might be some other things hidden on there too, on the plastic thing on the side of the plate you can see 23 little circles on it
I have the 37's and I plan on getting these too. Really dig that Zoom Strobel cushioning. I also like how they stay true to size.... all Air Jordan silhouettes going back to the 1's I can rock in a 13 while basically EVERY other Nike signature shoe(KD's Kobes, Freaks and so on) I need in a 14
This is the first Jordan I've bought that isn't the 1 thru 14. From 15 to 37, I thought they looked like cartoony space boots. These look updated yet I could see MJ wearing them. I picked up the orange, red, and the light marine (fadeaways). Really like this shoe.
Great job foot dr zach.... i bet these will be almost as good for players as the puma all pro scoot henderson shoes.. more i wear thise the more i love them
I absolutely love the design of these shoes. However, the biggest problem with this pair is that the rubber out-sole near the plastic X-plate unglues so easily - I played in these for just 1 game (in door court), the rubber out-sole came right off near the X-plate. I think this is due to both the design and quality issues.
Zach appreciate the effort in the videos, what nike jordan shoes can you recommend for flat footer who needs the footbed very flat, any arch brings my flat foot pain and so i cant enjoy very many baskbetall shoes and since you notice more detail about them, which ones could i try next?? thanks so much
For the “Flange” I believe Nike uses the term “Outrigger” or maybe that’s an older term. Haha. I hate when the heel doesn’t have lateral support from the outsole. I totally would have bought the Giannis sigs the last couple years but it was SOO round. I just knew my ankles would be done. 😕😕
Doc i know this is a bit late but can you review the Jordan 34's especially the low, it's a great shoe until now but i want to hear your thoughts about it.
Thanks for a very interesting review, Dr. Zach! The setup looks interesting for trying out. Do you know if this colorway would be available in all men's sizes? 🤩
Would love a review of the new selkirk shoes, both models, that are available on selkirklabs, I need a good pickleball shoe that wont wear out in like 3 months!
I want a pair I didn't like the 36, the 37 was a little better, I am glad the double stack forefoot zoom gone cause that was my only problem with both shoes in my opinion
Great review, very helpful. Do you know what other colors they might come in. I normally wear vapormaxx’s , because I work long hours on my feet . I work in the film business, so I need a shoe that is easy to climb ladders 🪜go up stairs walk on different surfaces. I would love to wear Jordan’s , but I would need them to have these things . #1. Super comfortable #2. Durable within reason #3. Good traction #4. They have to look Kool # 5. And easy to clean So thank you for the info you post .
Jus got a pair...no clunky heel, less cushion in the forefoot, better cushion overall tho,way better lock down due to way less lace pressure!! To summarize the 38,better wearing experience. Even though it's heavier it's not bulky. It's a beautiful shoe to look at also,on the toe-down view. Might have to get a few pairs of these, unless the GT Hustle 2 is any good.
so I wear 2 ankles brace with the Jordan 37 low ( mc david 195), a low version will exist with Jordan 38, or the high version may fit with this ankle brace
I like this design. I'm glad they moved away from that hollow arch thing last year. It might have been great performance-wise, and looked great the first time around, but it got old from a visual perspective. Regardless I LOVE this design. The way everything looks "stacked" in an organized way. The little piece on the midsole on the forefoot reminds me of the 14 (even though the shoe takes design cues from the 8 obviously...should have added the cross-straps. Cowards). Actual netting and not just mesh it pretty crazy. The midsole is a little clunky. Reminds me of a LeBron shoe.
Don’t get the “forefoot” shank thing. Missing a real midfoot shank or torsion plate. Could you please explain how/why this thing makes sense? - what is it beneficial for? - and why would you want a hole in the rubber at the point where most pressure is applied under foot?…
I’m picking my ‘Aqua’s up tomorrow. As soon as I put my foot in these in store I found where my foot has always meant to be. Selling every other pair I own and these will be it for me, just give me every colour and I’m a happy man. Bye Freak 5s and KD15s…. 😂
Was already huped on getting the 38s, even more with this review... though I was kinda hoping it had a solid bouncy air unit in the forefoot. Thanks, Zach!
Kinda looks like an upgraded Hyperdunk 2008. So no more eclipse plate for Jordans? For me it's cushioning is like normal full length zoom strobel shoes so it's more like a downgrade.
Bought them yesterday and returned them immediately, the cupsole at the heel is so short and flat (shorter than Lebron 21s) that gives you the feeling that the shoe is slipping. Sizing was good not as other Nikes but insecure feeling of the heel forced me to return them.
My all time favorite hoop shoe now. Even over my Lebron 21's. Honestly though, anybody that plays in these on an outdoor court is crazy. These are indoor ONLY shoes with the translucent rubber. I just snagged a cheaper pair of Lebron Witness 7's for outdoor and they are great for outdoor courts. I'll NEVER hoop on an outdoor court with a pair of expensive high performance indoor basketball shoes lol.
Grab a Pair of Move Orthotics: geni.us/moveorthotics
Hi zach, how long will the move orthotics last?
hey zach please do a performance review on the air jordan 12 retro the one with all leather upper please i am a fan im from the philippines and a hooper too

I have cancer and your videos really give me happiness to m y my last months on this planet.❤
🙏 be well my friend
Hope you be fine sooner
i hope you get well soon
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✝️
Glazing ngl
These look retro and futuristic at the same time
So it’s present time
Same vibe I get with these. Almost like they updated a design from the 2000s
Thought the same thing! Haha, The red and black color way look fantastic too.
they look like the Adidas Howards lol
Exactly
Thanks for the review doc! I've been really enjoying the Jump 2s (4 runs so far) but this was also on my list of shoes to cop this year. They look so nice. We appreciate you for making these videos doc!
been waiting on these 😮. Thanks Doc Zach . love the content. 🎉

Another one, thank you! Patiently waiting for this shoe

Exactly same here man. I hate going with either a TIGHT 13 or a too-big 14. Makes Nike annoying haha
Man, have I been looking forward to THESE!
Love your videos
Doc always coming through 🫡
I’m absolutely getting these. They seem like a shoe that’s great for what I need.
Great review 💪🏿🧠
Hopefully you can get the Li-Ning Bad Five 3 Ultra those are 🔥💯
Análise incrível, parabéns pelo seu trabalho!!!
i love how this shoe looks so retro yet it has very good tech specs, i’ll definitely get these when these go on sale
Nows the time
Thanks for the vid sir. Can’t wait for the low tops !
Hi Doc, looking forward to the review of the low top version of AJ38 as well. 😊
wow doc, great review as always! even better that drip sheesh🔥
Im loving the silhouette. Especially in the original colorway
Was waiting for this review
This is the first Jordan I've bought that isn't the 1 thru 14. From 15 to 37, I thought they looked like cartoony space boots. These look updated yet I could see MJ wearing them. I picked up the orange, red, and the light marine (fadeaways). Really like this shoe.
Top Review!
Great job foot dr zach.... i bet these will be almost as good for players as the puma all pro scoot henderson shoes.. more i wear thise the more i love them
I think these are going to be nice. Definitely need a pair
Definitely going to grab a pair! 🏀

Great review. Appreciate you showing love to our insoles.
I love that you use the metric system
I wanted these the moment I saw them. Super clean silhouette!
Zach appreciate the effort in the videos, what nike jordan shoes can you recommend for flat footer who needs the footbed very flat, any arch brings my flat foot pain and so i cant enjoy very many baskbetall shoes and since you notice more detail about them, which ones could i try next?? thanks so much
3:56 I had to stop the video when I saw FULL-LENGTH ZOOM STROBEL (FLZS)!! 🤩🤩
(Yes, that's the OPTIMAL setup for my foot profile.) 😍🙏👟👟
They have alot of design similarities to the OG Hyperdunks (Although, like you said, way more maximalist)
been here since 15k; man yer taking off! congrats!
Thanks for sticking around! You’re the real MVP
Will you please 🙏 review the ASICS Nova Surge Low. They don’t sell in the US but I’ve heard amazing things.

Thanks for a very interesting review, Dr. Zach! The setup looks interesting for trying out. Do you know if this colorway would be available in all men's sizes? 🤩
No idea but you can just size up the women’s too
Great review, very helpful. Do you know. what other colors they might come in.
No idea I pay less than zero attention to colorways
Are they better than the 36s? I love my 36s and 36 lows but need to get new pair soon so wanna see if the 38s are worth it, cheers
i would love to see the puma all pro nitro ❤
36, 37 or 38 for better ankle support playing lateral movements?
I was dying to know what was under the wings of that X-plate on the side. Love that colorway.
Yeah I love orange colorways myself - my idiot self thought it was zoom
Would love a review of the new selkirk shoes, both models, that are available on selkirklabs, I need a good pickleball shoe that wont wear out in like 3 months!
Thanks for the review, Zach.
The 38’s and the GT Jump 2’s received comparable scores.
Which pair do you think is better? Thanks.
Neither - just different
I want a pair I didn't like the 36, the 37 was a little better, I am glad the double stack forefoot zoom gone cause that was my only problem with both shoes in my opinion

#1. Super comfortable
#2. Durable within reason

#4. They have to look Kool
# 5. And easy to clean

I have zero clue on colors or anything - i just get the ones i see first haha

Having used the XDR version of this shoe, I must say that it is one of the most durable shoes i have used so far.
Yooo that sick man! How you managed to get ur hands on these so quick all the time man
DSG released them a few weeks ago
How do you think they compare to the wow 10?
I have sunken arch which makes my foot go wide. Should I go true-to-size in these?
This is the coolest js in a long time!
so I wear 2 ankles brace with the Jordan 37 low ( mc david 195), a low version will exist with Jordan 38, or the high version may fit with this ankle brace
Hey seeing Move sponsor Zach, that's amazing
Keep your eyes peeled 👀
I like this design. I'm glad they moved away from that hollow arch thing last year. It might have been great performance-wise, and looked great the first time around, but it got old from a visual perspective.

The midsole is a little clunky. Reminds me of a LeBron shoe.
Hey doctor can you review the ASICS sky elite FF MT 2 volleyball shoes ??
Can always count on Zach to have a super early performance review
Thanks for the video Doc. If you have to choose one, as a guard, would you take the AJ38 or Sabrina 1? Thanks
Good question, I tried on both, loved both, the Sabrina’s felt amazing, 38s felt amazing. $100 more expensive…. Custom design Sabrina’s would be epic.
is it good for ankle sprainers?
Don’t get the “forefoot” shank thing. Missing a real midfoot shank or torsion plate. Could you please explain how/why this thing makes sense? - what is it beneficial for? - and why would you want a hole in the rubber at the point where most pressure is applied under foot?…
Zach just throwing out straight heaters rn 🔥
Trying
I had a good feeling about these.
Please review the And1 Attack 3.0
I just bought the 38s and they feel cushy and comfortable. I also have the 37, 36, and 35 lows.
Hey I have the 37s in size 8 with a tiny bit of toe space should I get these in a 7.5?
Great video! Do you think they would be bad for a chronic ankle sprainer like myself? Or is the ankle support okey? Thanks a lot! 😊
Middle of the road - there are better tbh
I’m picking my ‘Aqua’s up tomorrow. As soon as I put my foot in these in store I found where my foot has always meant to be. Selling every other pair I own and these will be it for me, just give me every colour and I’m a happy man. Bye Freak 5s and KD15s…. 😂
The low version of this will be Insane 😮
Hope these come out in a low version. Im sold
I like the more substantial build of this shoe.
Do the austin reaves please !
where did you get THIS colorway?!
Was already huped on getting the 38s, even more with this review... though I was kinda hoping it had a solid bouncy air unit in the forefoot. Thanks, Zach!
Reminds me of the Air Jordan 21.
Can you do Jordan 28 review too?
These look like the Jordan 22 and 34 had a baby.
I thought the same
36 still my goat💪
Is it ok to go half size down bcz of the extra toe space? . I have narrow feet
Are these better than WoW 10s? I mainly play SF/SG
It’s gonna be hard making a top 5 end of the year list with all of these elite performing shoes. Great for consumers though!
yup
Looks great for badminton
Kinda looks like an upgraded Hyperdunk 2008. So no more eclipse plate for Jordans? For me it's cushioning is like normal full length zoom strobel shoes so it's more like a downgrade.
Hows the outsole durability??
Seen some bad reviews
PLEASE REVIEW AND1 ATTACK 3.0 PLEASE!!!
Lebron 21or MJ 38? Im 6,2 pf/center player inside courts only. Wide feet, a bit heavy (105kg,188cm) ty
Move game day insole coming in today. I also want this colorway of the 38. How and where did you get this already DOC?!
DSG drop
Bought them yesterday and returned them immediately, the cupsole at the heel is so short and flat (shorter than Lebron 21s) that gives you the feeling that the shoe is slipping. Sizing was good not as other Nikes but insecure feeling of the heel forced me to return them.
You gave up WAY too soon… didn’t even play in them!?
@@jrodzilla24 the initial feeling was not good, if I played in them then I couldn't return them. I didn't want to risk 200 Euros
jordan 38 or GT Jump 2?
Still waiting for the Anta Shockwave 5 performance review
This man is a whole menace 😂
My all time favorite hoop shoe now. Even over my Lebron 21's. Honestly though, anybody that plays in these on an outdoor court is crazy. These are indoor ONLY shoes with the translucent rubber. I just snagged a cheaper pair of Lebron Witness 7's for outdoor and they are great for outdoor courts. I'll NEVER hoop on an outdoor court with a pair of expensive high performance indoor basketball shoes lol.
These are giving the Air Jordan XX1 vibes
I just want the 36 lenoweave back. I don’t ever want to hoop in hot shoes again
NEED AJ 28
The tongue on AJ8 was massive
So we initially thought formula 23 foam? But tech specs specifically say cushlon 3.0?
Yep 3.0
Can you do the way of wade 808 v3 just came out please
Yep I have them
I love these and I'm sad this orange colorway is women's sizing only. But I understand bc it's wnba colors
They’re easy to size up
These kind of remind me of the jordan 21
