The heshikiri hasebe is probably my favorite existing katana in Japan until the Hanjo masamune is found

I can’t imagine the amount of hours of research it took to make this video. Thanks for sharing and your hard work putting this rich information together. Your videos are always appreciated and informative. Great job .

my hizen-to looks alot like the tadahiro blade shown but is slightly older made during the first gen tadayoshi time. how the school turned out so many high quality swords during the first few generations is impressive.their seems to be two types or styles they specialized in. blades with a modest sugata a tight konuka jihada and a suguha hamon that emulate the yamashiro rai tradition. the other type are totally different with a strong tori sori itame hada and midare hamon including hirazukuri wakizashi.

I'm tired of hearing about katana, half the information in this is bad, let's hear about a tachi or odachi or a nodachi

Why did the Japanese lie about their swords / spears? Dragon fly landed on it, and got cut in two?? BULLSHIT! Blade cut through 6 human torsos? Bullshit! Used to kill a 'mountain witch'? BULLLSHIT! Don't get me wrong, this ISN'T in ANY way a criticism of the video!!
