    Looking forward to watching your excursion Rob. Like your canoeing vids, your always good at explaining what your doing, showing wildlife and great views!

      Thanks Andrew! I try my best but sometimes things pop up like unexpected noises and makes for a crappy video. I wasn't to thrilled when I found this out when I got home! LOL! Like seeing the wildlife out there but there wasn't much to be seen unfortunately!

    Awesome Rob, Wabakimi was the same, anywhere from 1' to 1 1/2' low from what we had last year, many places we could not paddle through this year. Look forward to the other episodes...Fred

      Thanks Fred! Ya, the super low water made for some tough going in places! Never been to Wabakimi.

    You've managed to keep a beard at bay. Looking forward to Quetico.

      Thanks Fred! The wind didn't do me any favours on this trip and I had some issues but I still enjoy Quetico! I don't do Beards! LOL!

    Is that the noisy mount from your truck? Hello old friend!

    • @OutdoorRob
      @OutdoorRob  4 роки тому +2

      LOL! Hey Terry! You'd think it was...I believe the mount wasn't tight on the canoe and I didn't realize it until after the trip. Sucks!

      Ya, that setup didn't work very good, was pretty disappointed when I got home and reviewed the video.

    How is the sitting comfort of your canoe vs a sea kayak? I had to sell my sea kayak because my legs would go numb after an hour and I didn't enjoy it.

    • @OutdoorRob

      Much the same for sitting but I can at least lift my legs up and move them around more when they get sore. Right now with my sciatic I can't sit for long in the canoe either.

      I don't know the exact numbers off hand and it's stored away right now but I'm about 230lbs with about 50lbs of gear and it will hold a lot more than that. I thinking a couple big packs and a food barrel would be the limit for space in there anyway. Have fun with the canoe, I like mine!

    Must been quite the job. To put the camera out for the exterior shots. Then stop. come back, pick it up and video while paddling. Unless smokey the bear was helping out.? lol

      At the start, my wife dropped me off and walked down to video me leaving...after that it's all me!
