⚠ *UPDATE 7.01.2024:* Starting today, Priority Pass memberships on the Chase Sapphire Reserve & Ritz-Carlton Credit Card will no longer include restaurant, cafe, or market locations. Access will be limited to lounges & other select airport experiences (e.g. spas). This change was originally announced on 3.27.2024. ⚠ *UPDATE:* The Capital One Venture X Business card no longer provides access to Priority Pass restaurants to new applicants as of May 2024. This is due to the card switching from a Mastercard to a Visa. However, if you have the older Mastercard version, then you still have Priority Pass restaurant access. 📲 MAXREWARDS - Use promo code “markr” markscreditcards.com/maxrewards 💳👇 VIEW CREDIT CARD OFFERS! markscreditcards.com/offers 🛍 RAKUTEN - Earn Cash Back! markscreditcards.com/rakuten ⬆️ (More links in Description below video!)

Thank you Crystal! Hugely appreciated. FYI: I just added a pinned comment with an update that's coming soon. Beginning July 1, 2024, the Priority Pass memberships from the Chase Sapphire Reserve & Ritz-Carlton Credit Card will no longer include restaurant, cafe, or market locations. Access will be limited to lounges & other select airport experiences (e.g. spas).
Very good comparison. I always thought that you only need one Priority Pass login for all of your cards. BTW, can you do a travel portal comparison between Chase/Amex/Cap1 including pricing, availability, etc? Would be super helpful.

Terrific video. The Summary & comparison was worth the price of admission alone. I originally had the Amex Plat but switched to CSR when Amex eliminated restaurants. Just got the VX Business and am surprised that it does not allow for authorized members. I was providing VXB cards to crew members whose home base airport had a Cap One Lounge. As always thanks for the clear in-depth dive.

BOA Premium Rewards Elite = Unlimited visits per year for both primary cardholder + guests. Maximum 1 guest.
I just got the Ritz carlton card... will it still be unlimited complimetary visits per year including guests and authorized users? And would I have to show my Ritz card to ensure its own unique benefits are honored or would they know automatically on their system? Amazing video and tyvm for the hard work
15:30 with seeing within the app for the benefit with restaurants i just checked my base venture x and it pops the example given with the restaurants so im not sure if its just trying to show you what’s at the location
You might double-check Altitude Reserve information. My understanding is that you get 4 visits and 4 guest visits per year. I don't think you can use guest visits for the primary person.
How about someone with multiple priority passes? Can you bring in 2 guests using one card from CSR and another 2 guests using another card from AMEX Plat? I've been wondering that since I usually travel with 3 other people in my family.

Great Video, just subscribed! Are spas and rest locations like Minute Suites covered in the restaurant tab, or is that different? When I called Minute Suites up they said they probably didn't cover Capital One Venture X Business ( I made sure to clarify that ) even though it says yes on restaurant and ETC in your chart. I don't have it so they weren't 100% sure though. I ended up getting the Plus package for this year which has 10 visits for $245 mostly because of the savings for Minute Suites + Lounges. For someone who doesn't need an authorized user, and is looking next year to upgrade, what is the unlimited + Restaurant + Spa you'd recommend. Ritz-Cartlon, Chase Sapphire, or Venture X Business who doesn't need an AU? My instinct tells me Chase Sapphire since it wouldn't require a card upgrade and Capital One did a bait and switch for the Venture X card.
1. Thank you! 2. My chart info for the C1 Venture X Business was based on data points found through research. Unfortunately, I cannot 100% confirm if the card has access to the spa locations as I don't have the card myself. Call Priority Pass instead. 3. Too much to compare between those 3 cards in the comments. Go with the card that provides you the best overall benefits package that you personally value. Note: If you'd also like to earn valuable rewards points through spend on a card for travel redemptions, then I'd avoid the Ritz-Carlton Credit Card. Earning hotel points specific to 1 program is too limiting & highly subject to devaluation.

Hey Mark, got off the phone, and verified C1VX Biz has spa and restaurants access. In addition to American Express, Capital One, Citibank, Wells Fargo, Chase, and Bank of America, which other company's credit card would you apply for?
Mark great video! One question, I am a Venture X holder, my priority pass is valid for one year, can I renew my PP for free after the year as long as I keep my VX card?
How instantaneously do the next year's free passes get added to your account? So for example, if your member year is from June 1 - May 31, and and you get 8 free passes eaxh year, do you get those 8 passes on June 1 the following year or is there some lag? I ask because i have a trip scheduled that I plan on using my remaining passing on the departing leg of the trip, and the PP year turns over while I'm on my vacation. Will i have access to next years passes on the return flight?
In many situations, no. However, I can't guarantee that all 1,300+ locations accept digital passes (or the newly rolling out "payment card for entry"). I'd personally have the physical card as a backup.
Is ridiculous to see that Amex Platinum Priority Pass offer less than some other Cards considering the higher annual fee, I have both Plat and Venture X, I haven’t applied for Priority Pass on Venture X because I thought I would not need it but just in case I will now since I travel with my family sometimes.
