Boston Chase Sapphire Lounge one visit per year with C1VX Priority Pass. $75 per person per visit after your first visit. I read that you can no longer bring in friends to the Priority Pass lounges.
I've found that half the time I go to a Plaza Premium lounge outside of the USA, most have no clue why I handed them my Venture X card and argue with me that it's used to get into the lounge and I just end up using my Priority Pass card instead. This happened to me twice in a recent trip to Canada.
The C1 lounge at DFW looked really nice. Thanks for the tour. It wasn’t very crowded, unlike other well known lounges. Were you there at an off peak time?
I am still confused about the number of guess allowed at PP lounges, I know the wordage on the website says up to two guess. In the VX facebook group, people are adamant it is unlimited guess. People always say they take more than 2 guesses and never get charged.
@@MarkReese when you google venture x, the main page says “Enjoy unlimited access for you and 2 guests to 1,300+ lounges worldwide from Priority Pass™ and Plaza Premium Group.” So I thought that was pretty clear that you can only bring two guests. But the belief is that it is not capped at 2
Mark - my understanding of the VX business card is that while you can have AU's for free, they do NOT get lounge access, unlike the personal. Also, I was under the impression that the business kept the restaurants, while the personal lost that perk. Has this changed? Am I wrong and both business and personal are entirely the same?
As I write this, my limited understanding is that AUs on the C1VX Biz Card do not get their own Priority Pass membership. I'm not sure if they can access the Capital One Lounge or Plaza Premium Lounge networks. Haven't found any blogs with info on this either. Might have to ask Capital One directly.
@@MarkReese So, to put a pin on this, I checked with C1 and Priority pass. VX Biz AU's do NOT have lounge access of any kind other than if they are accompanying the primary cardholder, which is slightly different from your graphic in the video. And apparently, NEITHER card allows for restaurant access. Thanks so much for all of the info!
I was asked either the physical or digital priority pass card when I tried to enter the VIP ONE lounge in JFK and PP lounge at St Jose. I gave them my VX but in both cases they demanded the PP card. And in that VIP one case, they said I can’t bring guests so I had to download digital PP pass for my parents. Are there some misunderstanding going on with the agents? If I have a long connection, am I able to enter the lounge more than three hours prior?
It can be frustrating when policies are not yet fully rolled out across all lounges. Using the Venture X card itself to get in was announced some time ago, but I can't say how widespread it is. I always bring my Priority Pass card with me. Regarding guests, I can't speak to that. Each individual lounge can put their own restrictions in place when needed. Here's the link to the VIP One Lounge page: prioritypass.com/lounges/usa/new-york-ny-jfk-international/jfk25-vipone-lounge I'm not aware of a way to get longer than a 3-hour visit if that's the published rule.
It may still be unlimited; the terms only mention 'guests.' That said, individual Priority Pass lounges may enforce a limit based on capacity constraints and whether or not the lounge contracts with specific airlines to take in premium cabin passengers. 2 guests should be guaranteed though.

The Airalo ad may actually be more useful to me than everything else in this great video.
Coors Banquet at that Priority Pass Lounge. Johnny Lawrence would be very proud.
Great detail and video as always! Very helpful. Thanks Mark!!🙏
Capital One Lounges are 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks for the info + video!
Yep I like them a lot!
Great walk through Mark.
Thanks!
Great new background!
Thanks! Just temporary during travels.
My favorite credit card content creator🙌🏽
Thank you! 🥇
Ha, I'm at the Plaza Premium DFW weekly and have never seen it that empty!
😁

Doesn't surprise me that access standards aren't 100% unified 😬
The C1 lounge at DFW looked really nice. Thanks for the tour. It wasn’t very crowded, unlike other well known lounges. Were you there at an off peak time?
I was there somewhere between 10:20 - 11:30 AM. "Crowded" lounges aren't necessarily crowded at all hours.
Great information
💯
Does an authorized user have access to the 3 lounges too if they are by themselves? Or does the primary card holder always have to be present?
AUs have access on their own.
Is priority pass lax? I can’t located.thank you
I'm not aware of any Priority Pass locations @ LAX right now.
What's that music you used for the LAS lounge tour, Mark?
"Acid Jazz" by Kevin MacLeod
Which terminal in LAX?
I'm not aware of any lounges @ LAX that are accessible with the Venture X card at this time.
I am still confused about the number of guess allowed at PP lounges, I know the wordage on the website says up to two guess. In the VX facebook group, people are adamant it is unlimited guess. People always say they take more than 2 guesses and never get charged.
The terms only mention "guests," so it could be more than 2.

By 'AU's not getting lounge access', I meant on their own - if they are with the cardholder, yes they can access the lounge....

Any of those at lax?
None that I'm aware of right now.
Lounges are not open 24 hours?
Nope.
I thought priority pass guests is unlimited or did they change it?
I was able to bring six people into lax lounge. That was 2 weeks ago
@@Jiamian206 I thought LAX didn’t have a priority pass lounge. Only had spa and game place.
