This is crazy. I used to own the x five Bmw. And I got a ticket with it in Raleigh County West Virginia state trooper was so nice. He helped me move my cooler to get to my registration and trust me. I had beers in my cooler, but he didn’t even look but he gave me a nice $175 ticket.
This will be my next side by side. After 3 Rangers and a General, im ready to try a can am defender next just can't decide between the 3 or 6 seater. Awesome machine and great video!! 💯
This is my first 6 seater (4 door). It's so nice having the extra room. I think it helps with the ride also. I'm 100% happy with it and I am so glad I did not get a 3 seater (2 door).
@Keep-N-up W/Jones' copy that, my 2 seater general is a little cramped for a big guy and my wife hates it lol. She misses the Ranger. Thanks for your input sir .
Great review! Debating on selling my x3 and going with a defender. Just don’t ride the x3 as much as I use to and I think a defender will suit how we ride now.
@@KeepNupWJones I ended up buying a new hd9 xt and kept the x3. Love it so far and still have my x3 to beat on! Maybe in the future I’ll trade both in for a limited.
did you have to do many 3 point turns on the trails in wv? that is my biggest concern i want a 4 door but i am worried about having not being able to make all the turns
How well do the doors keep water out? It looked like you didn't get into much water above the bottom of the doors. Have you had any experience in dusty conditions, if so how did the cab do at keeping it out? Where I live it can get very dusty.
The water still comes in. The doors help slow it down but doesn't keep it out. My first trip to WV it was dusty and I didn't get much dust in the cab. I had the windows down part of the time so that probably didn't help.
How is the engine noise in the cab? Planning on ordering one very soon but worried about how loud it is inside the cab while driving especially in low range
The noise in the cab is very minimal in low or high range. No problem at all going down the trail carrying on a conversation with passengers in the front and back seats.
I've never had 30's on the defender so I can't say. I did have 30"s on my x3 and switched to 32"s and couldn't tell any power loss. For me I would take the power loss if there is any to run 32's.
@@KeepNupWJones Thanks for the reply, i just live in Wilkesboro, can you measure total height? I want to see if unit will fit in my enclosed trailer with 32" tires. thank you
I may have missed it, but did you put a clutch kit in after you changed your tires to 32s? I put 32s on mine just as winter started but I haven’t had the chance to try any steep hills or mud to really notice how much power I’ve lost yet.

Thanks for the commentary, especially the tint. Waiting for my '24 to arrive.
This is the neatest one I’ve seen so far !!! I have a land master so I’ve got to spend a lot of money to get it street legal

completely decks it out and says "thats about all ive done to it" haha. Very nice sxs man. I have the 2 door limited and love it.
Amazing terrain and video, shows what these UTVs are capable of! Very impressive utility UTV.
It really is!

Yes same here. I'm getting older and comfort is more important than speed

No not at all. The Defender turning ratio is great. It turns tighter than my X3 does.

My cousins own one just as quite as a car
@@evanibarra6966 Have to disagree, it's considerably louder than a vehicle.
Where did you get the cup holder that is mounted off of the lower dash?
It came factory with the limited
It's part of the HVAC system, meaning you can't buy just the cup holder.
What light bar did you add? Brackets? Switch?
It's a 14" light bar from Harbor Freight and the bracket came with it. I ordered the light switch from Amazon.
Awesome video!
Thank you!
I would never get that thing dirty as pretty as it looks
How is the cab noise?
Compared to other enclosed sxs's it's quiet. I have no problem carrying on a conversation while driving
add zbros and it will soak it up like the x3, these machines are extremely capable
I have a 2023 coming. Do you think the 32” tires kills the power vs putting 30” on.
