I just got a 2015 220D AMG Sport black with the night pack, D steering wheel. Me and the misses love it! And we got 2 young chidren. Not sure why it gets so much hate. Looks better than a tesla

@@TheAuto101 thank you. The test drive went well. Only concern is a whirring noise that is speed dependent. Tech says it could be a simple fix such as a differential flush.
Either way I purchased a warranty from CarMax when I bought it.

When you drive on s (sport) does the gear shift for you by itself like go into D1 D2 etc without me doing it? Or should it stay on D the whole time while I’m driving
In Sport mode, the gears shift by themselves unless you trigger the shift paddles. In Manual mode, the shifting is done by the driver
What’s the average insurance payments on one of these?

Thanks for watching man! The maintenance costs are in line w other German manufacturers, but higher than some non-premium manufacturers. No major issues outside of regular maintenance tho

@@Saucxy It's just been regularly maintained as per the maintenance system in the car. No issues outside of normal maintenance!
Very slick the looks alone are worth considering this car the ride is more BMW like than a 300 series more than enough pick up I have a older 300 and plan on picking up one of these with less than 100k miles

Great video! I am in Canada and stuck between the 2015 Mini Cooper (the more reliable years). Or the CLA. Can you touch up on the reliability of your CLA?
The CLA has been reliable so far through 7-ish years of ownership! No major repairs other than normal maintenance work. Keep in mind, it's only been used 100k-ish kms, so light usage.

Whats your opinion for buying a highly maintaned cla 2014 sport line with 60km for 25k?
Could be a good price depending on the model level since it's so low Kms. What's the engine?
What about maintenance? Is it less costly for the clas considering the fact that it’s supposed to be a “lower” class ?
Maintenance should largely be in-line with other MB models. Routine maintenance may be less costly given the smaller engine size and FWD Platform
I have red one CLA...and I can confirm from my expirience. Many people told me that it is imposibile not to notice it on the road 😅

A class is a sub compact you can't compare directly to 3 series and C class i think

Hi Pete, thanks for watching! That's about an average amount of miles for a 2018, so reliability should be ok. Maybe look into an extended warranty for peace of mind? Deals are tough to say right now in this market :(

Not too bad thus far according to the owner. 7 years of ownership and just routine maintenance

It’ll likely be more expensive in terms of maintenance cost than non-luxury cars, but should be comparable to other luxury European cars of the time

Depends on the hour. At night is a moonroof, during the day a sunroof, during the winter a snowroof, fall season leafroof etc etc
