- Happy Monday Y'all! I hope you had a nice weekend! Today's video is my first time having a long downtown layover in Canada. It was really chilly but I enjoyed exploring downtown Vancouver.

When I think of sacramento, I always think of the Jelly Belly factory just west of Davis. I like the idea of leaving a note before going out exploring. I was just thinking it definitely comes to handy especially in a destination that never visited or have sour relations/unrest. The rice dish around the 22:25 mark looks amazing

Hey there Mallory! I've been watching you for about 2 months now and thought I'd introduce myself. I am currently in the process of full-filling a lifelong dream of becoming an FA. I'm 47, a wife of 21 years and a mom to 2 teenage girls (one a sophomore in college and one a Junior in HS). I used to be a Special Education teacher before having my girls and decided to stay home with them when they were little. I have taught off and on since having them. About 6 years ago I went back to school (nutrition) where I received my certification to become a health coach. That never really was what I was here to do. Anywho, now that my girls are older and independent, it is my time to fly (literally!) I admire your youth and confidence to seek the aviation industry right out of college. I think that takes a lot of courage! There is so much pressure to pursue a career in what we studied in school. I am so curious what your story is when it comes to just this. Have you always wanted to be an FA? What did you study in college? Would you be open to making a video about this? Im sure many of us are curious! LOVE your channel! 💗 Leslie in MD
Hi Leslie! Thank you for your sweet words!! I'm so excited for your next adventure in becoming a flight attendant😁 I hope you love it as much as I do. I always wanted to fly (just wasn't sure for how long) but now that I've been here almost 5 years it's safe to say I want to fly for at least 30 more years😅 I can go more in depth in a video!
I follow several aviation channels, mostly pilot and flight deck stuff, but occasionally check-out an FA channel and your vids are the first I've ever watched all the way through LOL because you don't spend half the time trying to sell stuff. And you're a good story teller. Keep up the good work!

I laughed when you said Vancouver reminded you of Boston. I’m born and raised in Vancouver and when my husband was applying to jobs in the US, I really wanted to go to Boston because it reminded me of home 😂 (We ended up in Houston which is the opposite of Vancouver 😏) The Seaplanes you saw go to destinations on Vancouver Island. That’s my favorite spot in the city to just sit with a coffee and watch. Glad you got to enjoy Vancouver 🇨🇦

Stella was one of the first FAs I ever watched. I don't know why she stopped doing videos, but I hope she starts again.
Yea, I remember her too and watched her. Someone said she was still on FB and Instagram or something. Yea she was fun. There are a couple of others who are interesting and fun.

If you follow other blogging FA's you shouldn't expect another FA video of Stella (her handbag videos, OTOH, would be OK). American Airlines (Stella's employer) "seems" to have recently cracked down on blogging FA's and "seems" it has taken the same policy as Spirit (no blogging in uniform even out of the gate), which made Wonderfully Ale take over 90% of her channel's videos up until then down in 2021 (and she's never seen in uniform).
Stella hasn't put ANY new videos on her 2 channels since mid '22, but with the new policy she has no incentive to return to her FA channel.
Flight attendant jojo's channel had to take down a % of her videos and other American blogging FA's have had or will make significant changes in the near future.
Wonder what will mean for Mallory if her employer makes a sudden change of policy...
@@syxepop Leave it to a corporation to put the hammer down on something harmless. Also, it's publicity for their airline. The women were always very respectful, never anything negative said about their airline and it's just too bad. Almost all of them always said what a great job it was and that the company, without mentioning the name, was good to them. Of course, it was not hard to figure out who they flew for.
Anyway, it's just too bad.
@syxepop : Thanks for the update, l had no idea why Stella disappeared, which makes sense that the airline cracked down. Wonderfully, Ale went off the air for a period, but l had no idea why and l just noticed the removed videos. How is Jetting Julia still getting away with it l wonder 🤔

Yes! I use castile soap!

Question - why do they have a pick up time at odd times, 11:42, why not just 11:40 or 11:45?
They're all based off of our report times and how far away the hotel is from the airport. If it's a private transportation company it will sometimes be odd times like those. If it's a hotel shuttle it will usually run every 15-20 minutes and won't be at odd times.
