Such an interesting discussion!! 😊 Would be so interesting to see a chat with an Asian based FA or an European FA..
PS I enjoyed your Tasmanian blog
Owww great idea! That would be so interesting!! Let me know if you know of any Asian or European based FA’s!
Loved this video. I love Jo’s content and it’s so cool to see you both. I love the insight in flying and aviation.
Love your content ✨💛
Thank you so much for watching! Jojo vids are the best! Appreciate the sweet comment Katie ❤️
Thank you Brieana! I have followed Flight Attendant Jojo for ages and your video sharing throughts and experiences was great to watch. It's always great seeing vloggers doing collabs like this (I've seen Jojo do collabs with Kat and Kaycee a few times before) and every time I watch these I keep wishing I could go back in time and tell my 18-year-old self to forget uni and train as a flight attendant. (At 47 I'm waaaaaaaay to old to start!)
Again, thanks for sharing and I'm totally subscribing.
You’re never too old! I’ve flown with a 70 year old before! Age is just a number!
Enjoyed this fun comparison video 👍 "same same but different" ✈️
How cool is this! I just found you, and not long ago started watching Jordan ! She's awesome as well! Very interesting and informative discussion :) Thanks so much for the sweet welcome btw.
Aww that’s so awesome that you found us both! Jordan’s channel is so great!! Glad you liked this discussion and no worries at all, glad you are here!
Hey that was a really good idea to do that something different & interesting . Good job 👍🏻
Cool vlog BrieStar. I follow JoJo too. Amazing highlighting the differences in FA processes protocols. Keep Safe and keep up the wonderful work ⭐️✈️😇
That’s so awesome you follow her too! she has such a great channel! Thanks Peter take care!
Great collab how interesting Bree. Im off to Brissy today for our week training in the Sim 😊xx
Hi Brieana 😊. So I am picking up your channel from Jordan am just loving it. Can’t wait to get into your back blogs. You two make a great team, have great chemistry. There’s a fantastic tv show somewhere here.😊🤗
Oh hey! Welcome 🤗thanks for popping over! I can't wait to be filming more flight attendant vlogs when I start back flying! :)
This was so interesting as one of my nieces is a flight attendant with Qantas...such a cool occupation. 👍🤗 I hope both of you have returned to normal flight routines. 🤗
Thank you so much! Glad you liked this, qantas is such a great airline :)
@@BrieanaYoung can I ask, do u know how long it takes a ground staff person to move into cabin crew ?
Hi Brieana am so excited to watch this vlogs that you did collaboration with Jordan ☺
@@BrieanaYoung Yea of course 100% because I always love your vlogs and Jordan's
You should try to hook up with other FAs too Brie? Fun watching JoJo and seeing the difference in countries FAs
Was thinking about you when she went down to Australia. That it would be cool if she stumbled upon the only Australian flight attendant I know during a flight.
Such a small world.
Yes so small! We planned to meet up actually while she was in AUS! we had a cafe booking and everything but then we went back into lockdown so we couldn't meet up! Hopefully next time!
My favs beauties flight attendant. I love watching your conversation both of you look stunning while talking different accent good collab goodluck two of you subsciber from the philippines.
Great to know about how it works in the US, I have been living here for longer than a year after decided to take a year off from flying in Australia. I normally flying on a staff ticket during my one year here, I like to talk to crew on different airlines to know about how they do things, how they are enjoying their jobs, I can’t wait to go back to fly in Australia. One thing flying in the US is so great coz they have a lot of layover in some cool places, I wish i have a greencard so i can join one of them, seems like a lot of recruitment is going on at the moment. AA is great so far but…. Maybe not Dallas 😅 and of course Brie our VA is greater 😂
Yes it’s so interesting how everything works over there!! Hopefully we can fly together again some time!! :)
Hi there … this was a great 👍 video !!’
You two were so great together!!!
Hope you get to meet up and do another video !!!
Loved this video, so informative! And you two have great chemistry. 🥰 I’d like to ask one thing, you mentioned that you will have to apply for international flight attendant role and go through interviews and all if you are currently a domestic flight attendant. Does it mean that all VA crew start as domestic? Or do they get to choose to work as domestic or international flight attendant after the job process or something? (I am an ex-crew member from one of the middle eastern airlines where there are only international flights, wondering how it works in Australia) Plus I just passed the video interview for VA! I hope I make it through the assessment day. ☺️ Thank you Brie, and I love all your videos! A new subscriber here! ❤️❤️
Hey great question - pre covid it was that you have to have 9-12 months domestic experience & then when a spot became available you could apply for international. Wooooo!! 🎉🎉 congrats on passing the interview! Hopefully we fly together one day aww & thank you for the subscribe :) xx
@@BrieanaYoung aww you are so kind!! Thank you so much for answering my question, I appreciate it! ❤️
When you and Jordan were comparing hours, I think she's talking blocks off to blocks on, whereas you were talking duty hours (sign on to sign off), so that might be the variance between your 140 hours vs her 80-90 hours.
Yes 100%, I don’t fly 140 hours a month! 😅my hours are calculated by my duty hours because I get payed for all those hours. I have no idea what my “flying hours” are tbh :)
@@BrieanaYoung It was a great comparison video! I work for an airline (not crew, but work with crew) and it's just interesting hearing the differences between the fair share and the seniority system. Both have their pros and cons.
@@davza108 yes definitely!! So fun learning about how different countries do everything! Thats awesome you work for an airline !! Thanks for watching this video :)
as far as I understand so you get paid from sign in, boarding, etc but in USA FA is paid only after door is closed and plane is moving? the rest of the work before and after landing is not paid? it sounds a bit like exploitation in USA
Congratulation now you get 50 K.follower.I hope same your YT Chanel miss Giulia.nice.humble.perceft girl from Italy.
Hahah in my dreams maybe! but we will see :) Thanks for the comment, your lucky you are from Italy! What a beautiful country!
Virgin doesn't fly to Paris anyway.
Jojo just left UA-cam. A pity.
@@BrieanaYoung Just re-looked & see she meant she 'had 'paused'! Teach me for not being attentive.. Thank you for correcting & I look forward to more from Jojo!
Awesome collaboration and great insight into both airlines conditions, I also subscribe to her channel too as she has an Aussie link. 🦘
Thanks so much! That’s awesome you are subscribed to her as well! Yes her hubby is Aussie! :)
Loved this video! I always enjoyed hearing the differences between different airlines, especially overseas. Great collab!!
Thanks so much Jess! This was so fun to make! Glad it was enjoyable! ❤️
