4. Be honest with self.. have the honest conversations
5. Your friendship circles will change. the right ppl continue in life with you
6. Stay focused on God and do what you gotta do. love your singleness & give it to God

Tammy Render God Bless you. You made the right decision for a young person. I got saved when I was 13 and I've never looked back 10 years down the line. Ups and downs but the Grace of God is sufficient. Your peers may laugh at you but keep holding on.

IKR. I felt that way to & enjoy hearing wisdom from the fairer gender's POV on various aspects of this. Seeing things is probably not have seen.
i have read somewhere that marriage is to glorify God and not for us to seek for completeness and happiness or such things. Not saying that marriage will not bring you these but by first glorifying God you will have those blessings upon your marriage

This is absolutely true, thank you for sharing all of this, marriage is a big responsibilty, and you dont need to rush it because when the time is right, God will make it happen.
How do you know when the time is right?
@@wshelby83 I would recommend that you pray and the Holy Spirit will guide you into marriage. God will place your spouse in your path and your spirit (led by the Holy Spirit) will confirm and you will feel comfortable to proceed in the relationship. As far as when you will meet your future spouse, only God knows. In the meantime, you should embrace your season of being single. God Bless!

Time being single.. is oh so valuable.. on reflection.. self development.. knowing who you are.. knowing what you have to offer a spouse.. And how your union will complement the other.. understanding the importance of wholeness..Is key.. so many factors to consider.. Use your time wisely.. I've been in this thing for 17yrs now.. and it take work to maintain and sustain.. go head ladies.. 👌😘

The one about frienships really hit home. I've been evaluating my friendships and some of them I know I'm just really hanging onto because of the length of time we have been friends. Thanks for letting me know it's okay that change happens and literally I've been thinking, 'how many of the people who came to my wedding will I still be close with in 5 years time?'

Beautiful...your presentation was perfect...insightful and useful. One of the most difficulties I have had, was to be happy single...and to understand this too is blessing. Having been married, it saddens me to see so many women place their self worth with the identification of wife. You were on point...get outside of self and your desires....work on Godly business. Wonderful advice. I've been married for two months and this is already so real! Especially point number 6. You have to let go of what you thought marriage would look like. It's absolutely what you make it and it will not be what you imagined it would be like.

Beautiful video love your ponytail lol and look summery and cute. I agree with you on a lot of points. I volunteer too you mentioned volunteering and helping the community with your friends but what about with your potential spouse too there's something about seeing what your boyfriend/girlfriend or fiancée can offer to the world too. You need to see how they handle pressure and struggle too. I believe we have to test those people to see what makes them the right person too. Also I agree you have to basically imagine yourself not as the "fantasy woman" in your marriage but imagine the "real you" the one who would be in sweatpants and wants to eat cupcakes lol or when you had a really bad day at work can he handle that person too. So I hear you completely love this one I am going to save it and when my time comes will watch with my future husband 😁😉

Great job Heather! As someone married for 12 years you're on point with all your tips. I would add 2 more though. Know your spouse"s love language, taken from the book The 5 Love Languages. That book heloed me a lot. And also know that marriage is about serving each other which is not a bad word.
