and he also chose to benchmark using League of Legends out of all games. MY OLD WINDOWS VISTA POTATO LAPTOP COULD RUN THAT GAME WITH AN UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 7
So guys I made my own separate streaming pc that can stream at 1080p 60fps but I capped it at 240p 30 fps because 1080p is a little overkill.
@@whamett1 So I made a workstation build for video editing and it can render 30 minutes of video in 3 hours but I capped the performance of the CPU so that it takes 1 day to render 30 minutes of video because 3 hours for 30 minutes is a tad overkill.
I like to stay positive. The Verge sacrificed a computer so we can have this timeless piece of comedy.
I unironically appreciate the verge video. Because it led to the creation of this video. Together, it teaches newbies on how to avoid making simple mistakes.
I followed his guide, then my computer explode. Thank God I had an anti static bracelet,that probably saved me.

CPUs are easy to find here in Spain still, the real struggle is getting hold of a GPU.
I love that Lyle's genuine confusion almost caused him to break character several times. This is still one of my favorite videos in response to the Verge's build.

The verge's pc build video is just a How To Basic video without eggs.
That's kinda of an insult to HowToBasic. He does everything right until the end of the video and the descriptions are informatively correct to make them seem like real tutorials. In the other hand, The Verge's PC Build is in all aspects factually wrong and can realistically blow up your computer. If this was a parody I wouldn't mind, but these idiots (a.k.a The Verge) unironically think they did nothing wrong.
Just change the eggs to.. well... Accidental explosive.. or if luck, just a heater..

I’ve now built at least 3 desktops on the floor. Table is 100% optional
I built my PC in my lap while sitting in an office chair. My cable management looks better than that and mine is trash
Any flat and stable surface will do as long you know what your doing. But for a beginner a table would be a better choice.

I was gonna say the same thing. You should deff get the same PC build and explain the errors they made and make sure to highlight what new builders could do better by using the verges video as a reference.

For the record, The Verge should consider taking their video down (especially after disabling likes/dislikes and comments) since it could seriously mislead new builders into assembling their first system improperly. Safely assuming that they wouldn't pull the video anyway, this piece was meant to entertain while warning new members of the community in typical "Lyle" fashion, and it's been great to hear how this video made your day, or gave you the laugh you needed this week. While Lyle and I stand by everything said in the above video, I don't wish any harm or hate on The Verge and their staff. Actually, I hope they learn from this experience and start putting out good, well-informed tech content. The more the merrier IMO. The Verge hasn't reached out to me about this video in any way btw so I'm just speaking my mind here. That's all :) Love you guys!
