But if you wanna be more than jaguh kampung, work on pausing your speech and speaks more like conversation to a friend, then it might even penetrate other parts of the world.

First and foremost, congrats to Matthew for having improved so much as compared to previous vids! Love the short and no-nonsense honest review of the car. I must say that Kia has come really far when it comes to build quality and driving experience that it is almost impossible not to test drive their alternative to the Japanese counterpart in a decision making process, e.g. the Sportage and against the CR-V. Personally, I feel that their only problem is the deluded perspective of the local towards the Korean marque nameplate which has contriuted to its low RV. Otherwise, when it comes to build quality, packaging, and reliability it is one of the best if not the best as per reported by the internationally renowed JD Power Dependability Study..

Assuming that the SX model at my side of the world has similar specs to the GT (incidentally, I have the 2013 SX), the standard features you get out of the Optima are things that are options with European brands, and often undercuts them in price as well. Good review!

Proud owner of a Kia GT here. Interestingly I've tried both of the car as per mentioned that includes Camry, Accord and Mazda. But then my choices were narrowed to KIA Optima GT and Passat 2.0 Gt. Why did I choose KIA ? Cuz Volkswagen wait time was 3-4 months kinda turned me off LOL .. Furthermore the body of the GT , felt so much more better in comparison with Mazda, Accord or even camry. You know it when you just first open the door. Does it feel like a BMW or a MERC? NO, but it feels a whole load better than the Japanese counterpart. I would agree in terms of comfort the 2.0 Passat was tonnnes better.

TEsted both the GT and the Passat albeit it was the Trendline Passat with 1.8 TSI. I agree that the Passat is more comfy compared to the Optima GT. Even without DCC, the 1.8 Passat is as good as the Optima GT in corners and more comfy on straights than the GT. Engine? Strangely too, 1.8 TSI with DSG feels as fast as the Optima GT despite sorely lacking in horsepower and torque. No doubt on long straight, the GT can easily outrun the 1.8 Passat.
The Germans seems superior still but I must say, good job, Hyundai. I can live with a car like the Optima GT...plus, its cheaper.

Your new presenter English was good.. wish he could present more paultan video in future... Step aside this matter, the Kia car caught my attention for quiet bit, it's pretty and have aggressive looking.. my concern about the Kia, how about the fuel efficiency?

Good job on the review. You don't just throw in automotive jargons in the commentaries to make you sound smart, but you also explained to us how it translates into performance. It shows that you have ample knowledge about the subject matter, and not just some random guy reading a script.
If there is anything to criticise, I'd appreciate it if you'd break free from the Paul Tan presentation style i.e. that boring monotonous intonation that all Paul Tan presenters seem to use. Put more dynamics in your speech. Be more lively, and if the company can afford: get a public speaking coach who will tell you that it is "tail-lights" instead of "tail-lamps" of which you pronunced as "telems".
It wouldn't hurt to dress up a little although the concept is very leisure, and don't be afraid to put on make-up for the shoot.
Sooner or later, you might be scooped by a tv show producer, and the country can enjoy watching you on the telly.

libralcl the main difference is honda civic is surely more agile and nimble like a it's a teenager and this one is a bit more matured man

this car is good for this price range....u cant compare this car with a bmw...which is still miles ahead...but this car can compete with most of japanese car in this segment..the only thing is unknown is the reliability.....that is a big question mark....
