This is so sick smashed it my dude
Dayum bro, with those comments i can't stop uploading videos ♥️.
Thank you so much Matt, I appreciate it. You are not only an incredible musician but also a really humble person and an amazing human being.
MADRE MÍA, PERO QUE ES ESTE CROSSOVER, EL ESTEPARIO Y MATT. WTF!!!
Wow Matt's here
WOAH
I feel this is proof of when someone is a musician's musician.
love how you're able to utilise dynamics to make 1 tom sound like 2 in every fill, truly amazing use of dynamics my friend!
how he do that?
this is the most CHAD drum setup I have ever seen
the most CHAD chad I have seen
I approve this message
Travis Orbin disagrees.
It's the most ergonomic way to play, and being comfortable allows u to play better. 😊
the control on the left hand and legs that this guy has is surreal.
I know wtf! My left hand is so shit compared to my right I really need to work on it.
It’s sped up sooooo
@@joesmo8086 there’s a clock behind him, before you start talking shit
The best thing abou this guy? He really play the PERFECT TAKE! In all other drum covers around youtube, you see performances with a lot of cuts and different cam angles, but this guy simply play the song from the start to the end, and with the same angle cam. Nothing is edited. Really a monster!
You should see Matt Mcguire.
Look up Josh Steffen
@@DruGaTecH Matt Mcguire was the drummer for the chainsmokers aswell when they did a tour. Dont remember if he still does that with them or not but he really can do 1 take and live performances well
If you want to see another drummer that has only one camera angle check out mightymousedex. The kid is insane.
You do realize that different camera angles doesnt necessarily mean different takes or audio editing right?
Man, this is so awesome, and thank you for breaking down the sticking patterns at the end. These types of explanations are what keep drummers coming back to your channel!
Love how the jake mug is just chillin there
The reason i clicked hahaha
He vibin
I wonder if it would spin all the way around if he didn't fix it.
So this is what comes out when Travis Barker and Mike Portnoy hook up.
That would equal maybe the beat drummer ever? A better Neil Peart if you will. I'm all for it
He even looks like Mike 😅
really wish Warren Causey would put himself out there.. Steppenwolf would love that dude.
Dude, the foot speed at the bridge, insane! Kit sounds absolutely amazing, especially the snare! Great cover! And I love how you break it down at the end! Really cool video!
The sound of that snare is incredible. Everything was amazing but my favourite part was definitely the drop to a half time beat in the second last measure of the song. Similar to how Travis now plays what’s my age again live. Absolutely love your channel dude 🤘🤘
He’s better then sellout Travis
I hope Travis see's this himself, always so fun to watch!
He needs to play with Travis!
The best of all he gave a quick little tutorial at the end with the cool phrases that make this song sound unique. Thanks a lot man! Big up and keep up the good work!
I do wish he did a tutorial on the bridge beat too, but I agree that was awesome of him to do. That bridge beat took me about 3 weeks to learn back in the day (the original beat that is) and I still can't play it 100% right. Travis' coordination is killer and this dude took it to another level.
whoa...I love it !
Fancy seeing you here.
Once my wife was interviewed for a programmer job, the interviewer said that takes talent to be a programmer, and no hard work could ever be enough, I showed your videos that you said you don't believe in talent to her. She got amazed! Hardwork always get the job done (theory and practice) thank you for your content. Abraço do Brasil!
Travis Barker: Yeah I like to play a minimal set up
...
Why those hundreds of dislikes? Yes ok, you can say that “this is not the way to play this song”, but c’mon, there’s no motivation to put a 👎🏻 this guy kick ass 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 great job man! 🔥
Agreed!
Cuz it’s obviously sped up and doesn’t show his true skill
May I just add that the way he played it was pretty close to original, he just spiced it up with insane techique and crazy-fast fills here and there, but it fit really well into the song IMO.
@@joesmo8086 sped up wtf???? How do you know that?
@@joesmo8086 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
This is amazing! This dude along with many other great drummers proves you can play insanely good despite small technical flaws like the pinkie sticking out which teachers always are so afraid of. Insane control and speed!
Fuck teachers 😂
I mean, depends on the teacher really. My teacher always encouraged me to play the way I felt comfortable as long as the timing and dynamics were right and I wasn't at the risk of injury. He was one of a kind man and he shaped my view of the instrument in a way that I never would've achieved on my own.
I was almost always pinky out and I never put my heels down. He worked with me on that and made sure he catered the lessons to my unique style of playing. Awesome dude and one hell of a player.
@@Lastyearsjacket True, teachers are different! I have had a few really great ones as well. But the traditional teacher always points out as soon as a pinky sitcks out. I agree with your teacher that as long as you sound good and have timing dynamics and play comfortably then it shouldn't be an issue
I heard travis Barker released a cover of this a while back
Hahahaha goodone
I know it's bate but my ocd won't let me leave it alone soooooo.... It's Travis barkers bands song
Bro, that snare sound is sick!
I love how the drums are loud so you can actually hear the beat and how technical it is. Clean 🤘
Love that you knew that we all, weather or not we had an idea of what we’re seeing, wanted to know that sticking of the into fill and the chorus fill.
Great work, you deserve more!
I’ve seen a lot of drummers, and he’s by far one of the fasted I’ve ever seen
It's not just the speed though, his technique is fantastic.
@@OldPhillySix are you sure it isn’t his speed? I mean look I know he has his ways but my his speed! This drummer never ceases to amaze me
Man, this has changed the way I play this song SO MUCH, feels like a totally different song.
Still trying to replicate these fills.
You rock, dude!
Took me almost 20 years to notice, but Travis really is the instrumental backbone of Blink. No intended shade thrown at Mark, Tom, or any past or present members but I feel like he is often overlooked as a drummer. In other news, I always enjoy seeing Siberiano's impeccable heel-toe work.
Hes a great drummer
I know I'm incredibly late to the party but for sure!
love these videos. So addictive to watch!! makes me want to grab some drum sticks.... and then realise i would have absolutely no chance!!!
Nahhh ese detalle del final explicando los chops fue magestuoso....te pasaste. Sos un crack!
Travis barker's drums are pricless man, you covered it so well!
I love this..
Please do:
- Jiyuu Eno Shoutai by L’Arc~en~Ciel
- Kings and Queens by Thirty Seconds To Mars
- Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day
Agree on jiyuu eno shoutai
Count me on Jiyuu eno shoutai too
God bless you for the tutorials. I've never been able to get the intro down until you simplified it!
Its so sick that you give a quick tutorial on some of the fills afterwards
Amazing technique, I really liked the finn in the snare kkk . these alternative ways of playing are too different and cool congrats!
Brutal como queda la parte del fake double bass!!
This is some of best drumming I've ever seen!! Increadable foot speed!!
This was a tight as hell cover, and then the breakdown and ending went somewhere else altogether. Consider my mind blown apart. Amazing!
Your floor Tom/Bass rolls while maiming hi hat is incredible man!!! Nice work!!!!
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed, Single Pedal Please.
you dont need a double pedal for that anyway lol
I mean, with all due respect... Where in the fuck does that song need a DB pedal...?
Oh boy, you'll see...
I believe El Estepario will make a version with a single pedal that sounds like double pedal.
@@ElEsteparioSiberiano
play it ONLY with pedals
Only drum player with the most satisfying snare playing...….. Smooth!!!
He makes his snare look like the bounciest surface on the planet. I’m envious
That floor tom/kick drum dynamic is amazing!
ahora the rock show
Yesssss, that’s my fav.
Up
Secundo esto
Anthem parts 2, porfa lobito!!!
@@k-art-L parte 1
So original!!! A true inspiration! Making impossible fills and time changes that are super unique! I wanna see this guy play on a bigger kit
My anxiety of him not hitting that coffee cup is through the roof watching this! 🤘
as the most of us i´ve seen many drummers an youtube, pro´s and amateurs, but i must say you´re my absolute favourite! Keep up the good work m8, wanna see a lot more covers and other stuff!
Holy shit! I'm incredibly critical with drummers because I am one myself. I've seen some unreal drummers live like Ozzy's drummer and Brooks Wackerman. Drummers I haven't seen the likes of The Rev (who I idolised growing up learning to play) Tony Royster jr, Ray Luzier and Thomas Lang just to mention a few and I think your technique and flow between fills and even verse grooves is better than theirs! Love the tutorials at the end too! You are definitely getting passed on to friends and you are definitely gaining a subscriber in me. I lived in Spain for a year too so... Haha keep them videos coming!!!!
Such tight clean sticking. Make it look soooo easy! Awesome stuff man.
Debería existir el botón "Necesito un baterista así"
i mean this song is hard technically in its own way. i am just amazed how you play it and it sounds so good and MY GUY YOU DONT EVEN HAVE RACK TOMS. Mans out here with a snare and a floor tom and the normal cymbals and he makes the song sound so good. Big up brudda
I like how he added a lil lesson at the end
Let’s make this last forever
Let's go!
Love how you keep the essentials to,maintain how the song goes and then just add your own flare to accent it! Love it
Throug the fire and flames single pedal pleaaaase!
I would say this is not possible but he will probably say hold my beer and do it with a blunt in his mouth.
The part after the song where you break it down and then play it made it even more impressive! I didn't even realize how much was actually going on 🤯
¡Quedó viiiiiirgo el cover!
Algo de “Oceans Ate Alaska” cuando se pueda, maestro.🤘🏻
X10000
Das probably the fastest, single, foot work I've ever seen! Mad Props from 1 Drummer to Another!
Te admiro mucho Estepario, *cada vez superas más mis expectativas* Ya dar la lección en la misma toma del cover es de locos 🔥💥 tambien quería decirte que me gustaría hacer otra edición guitar and drums como en Nightmare, ¿te mola? ☠
Genial la edición, ¿como le hiciste?
Yes mate!! So hard to do , your an amazing drummer hands down but its so mind blowing that travis started this style of drumming to have people imitating it cos its so hard !! Travis created a genre of drumming single handedly
Soy el único español? xD Guapísimo tio!!
Dude that breakdown variation is UNREAL!!
Guay el formato este tío: Primero lo flipas luego te lo enseño jajaja xdd Cómo configuras el ead10 para que suene así de bestia bro? Me vendría bien algún consejillo, gracias por tu trabajazo! :)
Love those little turorials at the end ! 🙏🏼🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So we all know he’s a superb drummer, but is no one gonna comment on the Jake mug? lol
Man, everyone is going to remember you for your snappy ass snare rolls. Like on a Copeland level.
"Travis Barker left the chat..."
No words... Amazing performance and technique
Insane playing but that snare is tuned way too high imo.
The drum head is tuned so tightly it almost sounds like a practice snare.
Wow! Your technique is awesome and Ive never seen anything like this. Really snappy and extremely quick!
Best regards from Sweden!
Loved that you showed how to do the fills!! Thanks!!
By far my favorite drummer to watch. I normally watch the heavier stuff, but this song was just as fun.
Fucking love it. I absolutely love it when the drums are so balls to the wall when it comes to punk and pop punk.
That is freaking awesome dude.!
Greetings from Denmark ✌🏼🇩🇰
I'm a massive Blink and Travis fan. You nailed this bro, and Not Now. Amazing drumming. New subscriber. 👍
Great single paddle technique man.
And your floor tom is sounding killer
That double bass gave me goosebumps
Not only does he kill the cover, but he shows you the rudiment you play the damn thing yourself! Bravo!!
That "double bass" rocked the hell out of that song! Great!
Oh man, not only was this great to watch, but the bonus lesson at the end just put it over the top! For that I must subscribe.
dude, you are an absolute inspiration to me. keep it up. loving your style and enthusiasm
The two best things about this is the fills and the sound of the snare
so clean
Man be rocking the iconic Atticus in 2020 while effortlessly covering one of the illest drummers. What a fucking don! Job well done.
I love the sticking lesson at the end, cuz I was curious about that fill! Primo stuff right there.
Took it to another level. I hope to one day Master that speed on the chopsticks. Thanks for explaining the movements at the end. Best of luck bro and keep chopping away!!
Bro you killed that single pedal double kicks! Dope!
Thank you for teaching that drum riff. Been trying to figure that out by ear. ♥
The bridge 😱
Excellent work.
I love that you give a lesson of the song after your cover! Great playing man!
Que crack, que manera de romperla! Hacer algo a la altura de Travis Barker es una cosa pero hacerlo cómodamente y darle a eso una vuelta mas de rosca es otro juego totalmente completo. Tremendo
Thank you for breaking it down at the end. Loved it.
You are the fuckin’ man, bro. Not only do you make killer covers but you even take the time to show us the patterns! I hope I can give back to the drumming community the way you do someday.
So awesome! Thank you for breaking it down at the end!
Veryyyyy tight/clean fills, respect
Would never have thought first date drum set was so complicated.... you nailed it man.....
THEM STICK TRICKS WERE SICK! and the open handed fills, and more in time than travis himself
Really nice of you showing us in slow mo at the end what youre actually doing! 🤟
Dude that was cleaner than an operating room. Fucking spicy fills in there too, top notch stuff.
Subbed, watched a few videos and you're playing is utter madness
The fills are outrageous on this song
loved the fake double-bass-part of my favourite spaniard!
That snare sound thou! Gr8 sound
