- You've never seen this part of my home before! But what should we do with it?! Welcome back to my bitesized declutter challenge where I am organising my home in bite-sized chunks so that it's not too overwhelming. Today we are tackling the laundry cupboard - which is currently a secret laundry room in a space you've never seen in my home before! What would you do with this secret space though??
This bite-sized decluttering challenge is designed to stop you feeling too overwhelmed with the home organisation you need to do in your own home, to help you declutter and organise in little chinks, rather than in one huge declutter which could be too overwhelming to even get started!

I would make it a cosy reading nook. I used to have a space like this in my old place and it would be so nice to sit up there and read, especially when it was raining😊
That’s the main idea we have for it too 🫶🏻so cosy and like you say the rain would be lovely ❤️
Hi I do think you need to put a barrier up there I was worried you may fall off and as you say it could be used safely.
I think it was a brilliant idea on another comment to get the boys a telescope imagine not only the fun but what they could learn.
Really enjoyed the vlog and you got rid of so much stuff and an animal shelter/vet will be really grateful xx
My decluttering is on going. Feels so good. I keep some old towels for the dog and any household stuff that might happen. Animal charities are always grateful of them ❤
Bought a filing cabinet from Ikea, and sorted out every last bit of paperwork in the house. What a job, but so worth it!

Thank you for sharing! I like to keep a couple of old towels for the dog and any floods/leaks that may occur! I was thinking you could put a couple of small book cases up in that space!
Guess what!! Literally after i did this the undersink cupboard flooded!! So I was so grateful I had the towels in a bag by the front door still! So handy to have spares xx

When you leave things in the hot press / airing cupboards for a length of time especially bed linen the heat discountcolours them. I don't keep towels and bed linen in it, even the smell when they left for a few months. I use the cupboard for toilet small suitcases .
The sleep over pillow could do with replaced jmo
I took Xmas tree down today and tidying up around too. Delighted it's done now too. X

I inadvertently did this on Christmas Eve when ours flooded!! Unfortunately I didn’t film it because it was an emergency kinda situation haha. But it feels so much better now going in it! X

I had to be ruthless and get rid of duvet sets that were in perfect condition but we are a family of 6 and I needed room so I’ve been having a huge de clutter of my home over the past year

If you have bedding and towels that you no longer need your local dog rehoming kennels will probably really appreciate them 😊 our local charity has a donation box in their car park 😊

Could you put a telescope up there and teach the boys about space?
I bought a telescope once but it was ginormous haha and it would not have fit. I absolutely love the planets and night sky though so I would love that xx
Yes I put my last years white Christmas sweatshirts in a plastic box in the wardrobe and they went all yellow??? Xxxxx.
