How To Get a 1000 Damage Sword in Minecraft 1.20 (Sharpness 1000)

- In today's video you'll learn how to "actually" get a sharpness 1000 sword in Minecraft 1.18. You can get a sharpness 1000 sword, but the scaling is capped and you won't go too far. With this command however you'll be able to deal a lot more damage than by using enchantments and any sharpness 1000 netherite swords, as you're modifiying the attack damage, which you can turn up to 1 million damage or more. You should be able to do it like this:
/give @s netherite_sword{Enchantments:[{id:sharpness,lvl:255}],AttributeModifiers:[{Slot:"mainhand", AttributeName:"generic.attack_damage", Name:"generic.attack_damage", Amount:1000.0, Operation:0, UUID:[I; 42853, 1689024593, -201178, -1559272105]}]}
As you can see you just stack the commands using commas like this: {Enchantments:[],AttributeModifiers:[]}.

How do you modify an already existing item with the enchant? I am trying to make the item have a damage of 1,000,000.
I have an item that has a purple tag and a name and stuff, but I don't what that to disappear.

change the command to add more zeros and put it in a command block for more zeros

/attribute @p generic attack damage base set 99999999999999999

its capped to 128 sadly so you will only get 3 or 4 stacks, but i can do it anyway (the same happens with fortune)

For java edition, in bedrock you can't do it directly (you can technically just replace the itemwith a new one constantly but its not the same xd)

not without editing files, and most of the enchantments are capped at level 127, 255 or even lower.

you dont haha, copy and paste it somewhere (in a .txt for example) so you remember it, or just come back to the video when you need it. You can also copy it in a command block and if you hit ctrl + middle mouse button looking at the command block you'll get the block with nbt, so everytime you place it it will have this command in it.
