Kyrie is full of it. You can answer as honestly as you want. It's a choice, we have seen players and sports figures be honest and say however they feel. What leads ppl to be straight forward or not had nothing to do with being trained, that's straight cap. How you answer is based on how you want ppl to see you, what you want your image or brand to be. Famous sports figures like Barkley and iron Mike don't care what ppl think about them so they say however they feel bottom line
The issue is that Kyrie should’ve been able to make his stance and get respected. He made a decision based on his own personal and spiritual belief system. Sandy Koufax didn’t play in the World Series for one game become it fell on a high holy day that Jewish people celebrate. He believed that was his right, and it was, to not participate. He had that right no doubt. So that’s my issue, sandy got a chance to not only sit out but be given that full respect. Yet with Kyrie, people don’t want to respect him on that level and that’s a problem. The vaxx has already long been cleared up as far as it’s legitimacy and what is being said about it vs natural immunity. People pick on him due to a lack of professionalism. Certain things he’s done is wrong, but in general he gets a bad rap because people love emotional punching bags.
"why would they report on this in the first place" Bruh it's *their job to report on players* ESPN reports on players. Not reporting on a player, (no matter what they are doing) and missing out on airtime and ads is a BAD business move. Emphasis on business.
Mike Greenberg should really be the only non player to ever comment on sports. Maybe we could even give Colin Cowherd a pass to report but the rest of them should just stop. Sports broadcasting should not be 24 hours because these people feel they always. We’d a take. Not to mention all of there take recycled between each other.
I hate that I'm even writing this, but I don't feel the media was exposed at all (by THIS or by Kyrie). We all know that the competitive media putlets ask questions looking for more interesting (even embellished and sometimes loosely fabricated stories based on soundbites, gotchas, etc. But the people that train him on how to handle the media questions aren't the media. Players have managers, agents, etc that are in charge of building or helping a player maintain a brand (y'know, in order to sell tickets, the new Kyries, Gatorade, etc)...oh...and to help secure that next face of the franchise contract. This "training" DOES start early on, by handlers when elite players start having to do interviews (even locally) that could effect which colleges actually offer them a scholarship because colleges like Duke don't usually want to offer scholarships to the most controversial players. The actual point of it IS to make sure they don't cross lines in or out of context that could jeopardize the above. THIS isn't some secret though. These are usually pretty young men in the NBA who lots of people depend on to stay above water when it comes to marketability. Kyrie deciding that he's gotten to a point that he wants to do things differently (like older retired players do on their podcasts), is his perogative. But most people's issue with Kyrie is that he's a contrarian just to be a contrarian. So any cause that comes his way he jumps on it. He has some personal stuff happen, he takes time off without notifying people of what and why (as if we all could relate) and when he's asked he says people aren't respecting his privacy, or his right to privacy, and that starts a new crusade (when it really just stemmed from his lack of adherence to any recognizable protocol), rather than deal with the will you stay in Boston questions honestly (even saying you don't know), he says "If you'll have me I'll stay" (along with other comments), and then orchestrates the move of he and KD. When asked about that contradiction he's like SEE, no privacy can't two friends just talk..then there's another crusade. The point about leaving Cleveland (he said it came out BEFORE he could speak w/Lebron...BUT HOW did he not at least think to speak with Lebron about his feelings of being "SON'd" before making a move that (to a lot of people) seemed immature (which he later admitted WAS him being immature). So...Idk at this point any excuse to blame anyone else for why Kyrie sounds, or acts, or thinks, in a "WEIRD" way, has kinda been put to rest by the next thing(s) he does after his crusade for personal justice. It's like he wants so badly to be a social martyr that he's offing his own career (while also realizing that he really likes to play NBA basketball). Its like if "Doing it for the Gram" and "Karen" had a baby.. Nothing like seeing a Karen in the moment that she realizes she's been caught being a Karen. Its ugly cry sad (or atleast distracting), but life goes on and Karen lives to be Karen another day.
Fr he said something about not being able to speak on bigger issues when he has a big enough name to say what he wants at interviews. Look at marshawn lynch
Agreed, this is primarily Kyrie’s doing. He wants his cake and eat it too. His alleged contract situation of calling playing back-to-backs ‘inhumane’ doesn’t help him. Perfects example is putting out the Alex Jones video. There’s got to be a better image/way to put out that similar point about “conspiracies,” without utilizing such a controversial figure. So much so, you have people MORE focused on that imagery than your point. He seems to do this type of stuff a lot. Great talent as a basketball player but that talent doesn’t translate to crafting his own narrative.
Wow I’m beginning to notice how one bad apple can start a fire storm, and I hope the NBA can not let this soap opera cuz distraction and inside fighting with He said She said stuff to make more mountains out of the molehill. One team is already wounded trying to heal, I hope n pray something good might come outta this embarrassing soap opera mess marathon🏀🙈🤯🤡🥲

You don’t agree that he didn’t want to take some poison? Lol
CANCEL MALIKA ANDREW'S MOVEMENT
"why would they report on this in the first place" Bruh it's *their job to report on players* ESPN reports on players. Not reporting on a player, (no matter what they are doing) and missing out on airtime and ads is a BAD business move. Emphasis on business.

That's today's nba. A bunch of grown men surrounded by a 110lb woman afraid to speak there minds.
it’s his body it’s up to him to get vaccinated or not
if kyrie wants to go up there and not act like a robot then he should do it, who is stopping him?
Curses. Will FOREVER BE UPON YOUR HEAD AND YOUR VOICE FOREVER.
W BOYZNIGHT
Yessir! Those guys at the top of the Twitch game rn
She’s partially correct. Kyrie is insane.
The media is toxic
I'm glad I never needed Perk for nun 😂😂😂
Mike Greenberg should really be the only non player to ever comment on sports. Maybe we could even give Colin Cowherd a pass to report but the rest of them should just stop. Sports broadcasting should not be 24 hours because these people feel they always. We’d a take. Not to mention all of there take recycled between each other.
He expose the fear
There's your version of truth, there's mine, and then there's God's. So even if the true story never comes out... eventually...
my dude Rage, my dude Kai. yes sir
They like the sound of kyrie getting it up 😂😆
SOME-ONE ?? NOTICED ! THEY JUST DID NOT REBOUND. THEY (( LET IT FALL )) IT WAS NOT SPECIFICALLY CLEAR !
Kyrie soft. He can't answer the hard question. You make your own voice, i don't see Steph, Lebron, Draymond dodging questions.
😂 stfu all them dudes got deals they can’t loose and simply aren’t willing to speak there mind in front of the ppl who write there paychecks🫵🏾🤡🤡🤡🤡
He’s definitely right about the vax
🗣💯
ESPN is stupid
Kyrie gettin the T.O. treatment
They can say WHATEVER they want... For those who don't know.... Kyrie is a LEGEND. As for some people not "liking" him.... Who cares.... There were people who didn't like MLK Jr, Ali, Malcom..... I can go on..... Legends stand.
Kyrie was missing games for the past 3 years.
They should have beat Boston but they let that game slip away
I'm glad about the motivation
We will seeing
It was 4-0 . Lol
