I had an ARP head bolt snap level with the block on a Cummins 5.9. It was a bolt on the outer edge exhaust side.
Make sure you add two extra quarts fluid above the fill hole on a nv5600. It has to be done through the shifter tower.
Ironically, I just purchased the identical '04 NV5600 truck from the original owner, who cared for it for 360k miles, runs like a top! Similar upgrade vision, looking forward to following along.
Have an 04.5 there's people that have put 4-5 gen dash and interior.
Definitely bias, but my fav truck of all time.

24:43 I am hearing you talking about how much easier the new trucks are to drive. I am currently driving but my truck is lane centering with adaptive cruise control. I am not driving, I just nudge the steering wheel every 15 seconds. While my seat massager is messaging 😎.
Ford F350 SRW 6.7HO Platinum Tremor got it to tow a 5th RV. I did have a 117k mile 07’ Ram 5.9 that I also really liked but as a daily the new creature comforts and pretty much self driving is great!
All these guys want upgraded diesel trucks. They are not sports cars they are slow get u there pulling trucks. Trucks pull your crappy toy home.
Most definitely they are heavy plus pulling weight meant to be reliable NOT a sports car.
They are made to do this / cool and with less fuel.
Okay, by that logic why do we have classes in racing? We should have 1 with all the same car. After all a NASCAR can't compete with a Top Fuel Dragster in 1000 feet. Just like you aren't taking that rail on the road course.
Besides, this is America where we have freedoms to do what we want. Tyrants are doing their best to take that away but for now we still can build what we want.
Last question, why are you here? Honest question. If you disagree, why would you search this out, listen, and comment? I'll assume you have a diesel only to pull a trailer, and have zero interest in making it do it's job better or more efficient...
