Thank you for making this method more widely available. This is how I learned to determine the shoulder slope for both front and back bodices. The front is usually about 1/4" deeper than the back, but depending whether you are dealing with a more forward shoulder, it could be more. It does make a big difference in how your garment fits, so worth the time to measure that shoulder to middle waist.
