The priority is to feed the pups first before the babysitter even mom after returning from a hunt, dad will usually always feed pups before anyone else! Their skills are just amazing!!!!!
Though admittedly not a fan of wild dogs or hyenas, One can't help but be curious to see how this works and seeing them in action taking care of their pups.
So intriguing how they're always on guard looking out
Cute cubs...Love wild Dogs...
## Какая большая Семейка.очень Красивые... Спасибо Вам большое за видео...25.8.19 г. РОССИЯ..
Interesting how even the subordinates maintain the den too. All life totally revolves around the pups
Beginning they're so adorable. Just watching the den get freshened up with total astonishment lol. Sooooo tiny. So cute already know what to do for food at such young age.
Excellent commentary- knows his stuff and well spoken!
Так жалко этих собачек. Узнав , их образ жизни, зауважала.. Большое спасибо. вам .
Little ones so cute
Just incredible how tiny they are in comparison wow too cute
3:23 fascinating unlike other animals, they dont really try to steal or take food from others mouths, esp from the pups
Watching the pups, it's so incredible they know the food comes from the elder mouths. Fascinating
1:30 sure would've been cool if they showed more of the babysitter crouching low and beging as they returned. Very interesting watching her walk/run like that.
That's all short grass and vegetation, but to those pups it's a jungle lol
for us, and the adults, the grass doesnt seem much, but to the pups its a forest down there.
3:05 so funny the pup starting eating with sense of urgency lol
2:20 since she's begging feeding for the pups, wonder if she's actually eating that with the intention to regurgitate it to the pups
1:31 they come back ignoring her and straight to the pups lol
2:10 so fascinating that they all, esp momma, knows to beg and regurgitate for the pups instinctively.
Interesting how even the helpers do den maintenance as well
These Dogs puppies were really hungry
They are so incredibly tiny
2:00 watching the pups traverse the vegetation as them as it would be a jungle to us lol
2:09 funny how the lil bity pups jump thru "huge" grass
0:13 nothing to see here hooman
1:05 so funny the dude struggling to speak lol
Too cute from the beginning, so adorable. So funny how they all look like little clones all behaving the same way. 1:45 so I wonder if since she was out on thbe hunt and fed there, is she still trying to get more food here bc she's still hungry or simply bc she knows she needs to eat a lot to feed the pups.
No she hadn't eaten yet. She was the one left behind as a babysitter. There is always 1 adult (usually the mother or injured dog) left behind to take care of the puppies. The others bring food for her and for the puppies. The babysitter can also eat with the puppies.
I wonder if, you came across a whole litter of those pups would they just automatically chew on you because you're got blood in your system or would they act like puppies just trying to get something to eat
They wouldn’t.
Interesting how even the subordinates know to do den maintenance
2:18 the late stragglers didnt get the message, dinner was served elsewhere haha
:15 she always on the lookout for danger :52 incredible
so its like how do they know or determine which will stay at the den with pups? is their a line, taking turns, anything of structure? or simply the last adult just knows to stay there?
I think there is just one every time that takes responsibility. Wild dogs are extraordinary social creatures, and they also do some kind of voting before going to hunt. When the majority or the alpha pair vote pro hunting they will go, if not they will stay.
So they definately have communication skills and maybe they can also make out who's babysitting in that way.
Basically a combination
The individuals that are not the best at hunting stay behind or maybe an elder which is better suited for taking care of puppies than hunting
Or just an individual that prefers taking care of the puppies
1:50 look how big his belly is
1:30 wish the camera man would steady the shot aka hold still
3:30 she looks so full, looks like she pregnant again ha
wouldve been cool if around the 1:35 time there wasnt edits so we could see exactly how the babysitter goes about trying to get fed too. when she gets down low like that its her saying please please please feed me
even reduce the numbers of dogs, no need that much
They’re endangered
I like to see a lion king of the king of the animal come and destroy thier kingdoms
I wonder if, let's say you get one of the pups right at birth and try domesticate it..aka rear it like a regular dog..will they be able to behave like normal house dogs? Or their natural born instinct make them the vicious killers that they are regardless?
ponchai allen try it let us know LMAO
Well go grab one and let us know.👏😐
They're called wild dog for a reason
To be truthful and honest about it you could take one home I've taken coyote pups home but they are not safe, they obey you and they'll play with you kind of like other dogs would but the instant they taste blood ever they will go wild. And you don't want to go to sleep with a wild dog in your house
....
Basically her constant whining for food is her maternal instincts in over drive.
Ugh....wild dogs r not cute and cuddly. They r vicious and aweful
When you see pups.
When you see adults.
Which is more vicious?
I think they are interesting and not awful, so you shouldn't have even watched if you didnt like it.
