For those who are thinking of buying a moto g series phone i have been a moto g series user for almost 1 and a half month and i have some complaints regarding its UI like it has stock Android but still it has glance although you can disable that whole setting up and there're serious problems regarding its lack of some basic features like it doesn't come with a gallery app, it doesn't have a app lock type feature, you can't see how much mobile data you have used from the notification drawer, you can't set how much data you can share to the people who are using your mobile hotspot, plus it has a weird big with Spotify whenever it turn on internet it automatically starts Playing the last played song even though the app is not running in the background

Can you please start a series on good custom ROMs for existing/old phones?
Phome prices are very high now a days. Using good custom ROMs one can give new life to their existing or older phones. That will give user a new/better experience and also give new OS features. This will also save user from spending money on new phones (which are anyways not VFM now a days).
E.g. I have Infinix Note 12 5G. Hardware of phone is very very good. However, its UI is very very bad. Lot of applications build in/newly added dont get opened. So instead of buying a new phone I can use the same hardware with custom ROM will enable me to use my phone for another couple of years.

Just purchased the moto edge 30 pro for 15k. (Retailed for 29999 for a few days) (With exchange and card offers). Hands down best deal in a very long time. Excellent phone. The cameras are decent but it's a very smooth performance oriented phone. Now the price has gone up to 35k. Nevertheless, still a good deal.

There was some heating because it was updating constantly. Now it's running Android 13 and works flawlessly. No heating issues for now. Camera is good. It's better than budget segment phones but it cannot compete with flagship models. Might need to check with gcam mod.
Snapdragon 8 gen 1, ufs 3.1 and lpddr5 ram. That's more than what I wanted for 15k.

Thanks for uploading. One correction- Moto Edge 30's storage is uMCP5, which is similar to UFS 3.1 (and not 2.1/2.2 as mentioned in the video).
Then again it is probably better to wait for the Edge 40 now

Dont think so,as the Moto Edge 30(not the pro) was priced below 30K,I believe at 28K.
So,I dont it will be such a huge leap,likely will cost around or just above 30K,and may come with the SD 7+ Gen2 SoC or Dimensity 8000/9000.

@@Endorphin202 I dont know whether every phone will become costlier in every segment by such a huge margin,as only Samsung/Apple can pull that off,but I believe that other companies will still price their phones within reason,so I think 35K is a good bet for the Edge 40.
And except for the SoC & OIS,I dont think Moto needs to change much about the Edge 30 in fact they can use a slightly slower 120Hz panel in place of the 144Hz one.
I hope perhaps Moto can also increase their update commitment from 2 OS updates to 3 for the Edge 40 keeping it in line with the 30K segment.

Moto G73 5g is also a good option for an all-rounder phone. It has an ultrawide lens which is rare under 20k. Has an IPS display but a good one and supports HDR content on UA-cam with one of the best processor under 20k.
G82 has Ultrawide too.
But the G73 is straight up trash. LCD? MediaTek CPU? No OIS? Also Motorola started putting ads and stuff, which just defeats the whole purpose of clean/stock Android. It is a complete red-flag phone.
Only good for hardcore gamers who only hype up phones on basis of on paper strong CPU. I don't think HDR is even worth it because most phone screens never do justice to the HDR, at that price, lol. Definitely not this LCD.

I got the onePlus Nord CE 3 Lite in first sale. 400 ₹ instant discount + 1000 ₹ Amazon Pay Balance and Nord Buds worth 2,300. Sold these buds to one of friends for 2,200. Effective price is around 16,000 ₹
Camera is okayish in daylight but poor in artificial light and night.
Just got an update 4 days back and camera quality improved by let's say 10%.
Still camera requires 2-3 more updates to reach a quality justified for this price.
Overall is it a value for money phone or not?

In other words, you could expect big discounts on some models in offline markets if you are from a tier 1 city. But in tier 2 towns and villages we don't get that much discounts since our market area is very small and there is no chances for a retailer to meet his annual targets on a regular basis..👍
