So basically in US the pixel 2 and Pixel 8 pro is available at $999 and in India at $1515 for the base variant. Do you think this is fair?
It's quite normal here, we have to pay heavy taxes on devices made outside of India... same goes for gaming devices such as graphics card processors etc... so better to prefer devices made in India as much as possible

@GyanTherapy I purchased a VivoV29 Pro from Flipkart and was allowed to exchange my old Poco M2 Pro phone. But after delivery they cancelled the exchange giving the reason that the screen was broken. I had already clicked the screen broken option during item selection in exchange option. The price also got reduced to 5500 from 7500 due to that. Now I cannot even contact Flipkart customer support regarding this issue. @GyanTherapy, Can you please highlight this issue in your channel? This is a new kind of fraud technique being used by Flipkart nowadays. Initially luring the customer by showing a higher resale value and later on cancelling it. It was showing an additional exchange benefit of 2000 during purchase.
