When Ganondorf takes glances at his Katana, you’ll Kotake and Koume’s name are written in both sides of the weapon. They even made a few brief appearances in two of the Dragon Tear memories as can see them in their golden masks. It would’ve been way cooler if Tears of the Kingdom bring back Twinrova for a boss battle since it has been 23 years since we last saw them in the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages.
@@brentgrisier1738 Very true. Especially the Japanese version provided hints of his background. He aims for controlling of all creation instead of world domination(unlike his previous incarnations). And he willing to go extreme lenghs to fulfill his desire. Even if he has to transformed himself into the Demon King. Basically he is a Gerudo Warrior who likes darkness and demons, he has a thirst for the thrill of battle, and disdains the weak and cowardly relying on the protection of others (much similar to Demise of Skyward Sword). No wonder why he has a hatred towards Rauru’s kingdom.
fun personal experience: on my tv, the switch video output is zoomed in a bit, so when i got to the 2nd form of this fight, his health bar actually did go off the side of my screen
The main difficulty with this fight for me was the flurry rushes. The fact that he could flurry rush me was scary but I could handle it. Something I couldn’t handle was him Flurry Rushing my Flurry Rushes. So by the end of the fight I knew both how to flurry rush him and parry him too. I only own because I remembered that parrying was probably the only way.
"Do *not* look away. You witness a *king's revival.* And the birth of his new world!" The words awaken a sense of dread, as you realise he is powerful, beyond anything you've fought in both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Minutes later, you land a blow, draining his last hit point. But in response, he briefly monologues, and activates his Secret Stone. From all you've learned from the dragon's tears, he's strong enough to best 7 sages in his powered up *Demon King* form. His heath bar increases, but when it's at full, it doesn't stop. It keeps going until it's at the very edge of the screen.
For Ganondorf’s motives in Tears of the Kingdom, I’ve found out that he really wants to bring the world back that its rightfully was when the land is roamed by demons. In Japanese, his dissatisfaction to the rulers of Hyrule to lived in a peace and tranquility where as he remained attached to the brutal past were those with a sense of fighting spirit are the supreme. He aims for controlling all creation instead of world domination. And he willing to go extreme lenghs to fulfill his desire. No wonder why he despises the Zonai and Rauru’s kingdom. And ths why I do not like how the English vocalization re written the original source materials…. just like NA Nintendo did to Link’s Journal Entry logs.
I always interpreted it as Ganondorf despising the Zonai for bringing peace to the world, Preferring when the different races of Hyrule were at war with one another. Ganondorfs essentially a Conservative lmao
I want Link and Zelda to stand back and let Ganon cook. If history is any indication, I imagine he would reform Hyrule's sustainable agrarian culture into an expansionist hegemony.
They couldn't remember his name so they went through several names before they landed on Tustin, and then they called him that for the rest of the playthrough 😆
@@saviitrius I love that they forgot his name once, re-learned it, and then just called him several different names for the hell of it haha. They did call him Tustin a lot though haha
You just witnessed a king... *mid-suavamente*
Ha i get it😂
ah, a man of culture i see
🤣 Having just seen this, that was hilarious. I love those videos !!!!! Whoever runs that account are really creative.
*uses healthbar as weapon*
So many people reacting to the Demon King’s growing health bar is hilarious. 😂
Bro, I almost peed myself when it happened
I was like "that's a lot of health". Then after the cutscene I literally screamed "ITS FUCKING OFF CENTER?!?!" and my ocd was annoyed the entire time.
"WHY WOULD MY DAD BE INTO HIM"
"Because he looks like Benedict Cumberbatch"

Yeah, pity that Nintendo has a rule against using one-off villains beyond cameos.
VA Matthew Mercer did a phenomenal job portraying as Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom!
The only problem I had with it was that there wasn't enough of him

He is as good as the VA for Dio

Vinesauce’s Demon King photo is the best picture Ive ever seen from Botw and Totk combined.
Definitely makes up for how dry and bored he sounded. That photo was perfect

The Healthbar always gets people
Why does no one ever pack an appropriate supply of gloom-HP restoring food?
They're unaware until it's too late.

What are you, Arin Hanson from Game Grumps?
Fighting Ganondorf in this form feels like a call back to the old games
Like fighting Demise from Skyward Sword.

Me: You don't vote for kings!
Don’t blame me, I voted for rauru!
