@@ericm4840 yea but this isnt a luxury car, its a freakin Volkswagen. Don't get me wrong, the build quality is good, its quiet, its generally comfortable.... but as he says the software is terrible, the OEM tires suck and youre lucky if theyll last 20k miles, and their OTA updates can take months to finally push. the software was so bad that they fired the upper level management in their software division and invested $5BILLION into Rivian so they can get access to help with software development.
If you're absolutely sure you want an EV, and you plan to keep if for a long time, the VW is a decent choice. But if you only keep cars a few years or you're not sure an EV will fit your lifestyle, its a useless moneypit that you will be trapped under.

Do they roll the changes into older models like Tesla does,
Want the buzz..
Still, in 2024, no one pedal driving.👎
Yup, no OPD means I'll never buy one. I like everything else about it, but this is a deal-breaker for me. It's so easy to add.
OPD is a gimmick that adds nothing to efficiency and makes many people queasy as passengers. It’s the LAST thing I would ever use in any EV.
@@Ovationhabs OPD greatly improves efficiency during stop-and-go driving or when descending in elevation. Also, OPD results in much smoother deceleration than normal breaking. I don't get how you think that makes people queasy.

Friend of mine just bought one. The next day it stranded him out of state. On a weekend. Junk.
interesting because that's never ever happened with an ICE car. Nope. Never. right?
@@superset5 not to him it hasn't. Nope. Never.
This will be a 20k car a year from now
hi , dude pls just buy a new cam , the video quality is so bad
VWs problem, Tesla exists with the model Y and delivers more for less
Electric car and it has a manual tailgate? Volkswagen are getting worse as it gets older😂 little nice features we all want these don’t seem to have. For the price of that car the seats are manual the tailgate is manual? Like common that’s a joke.
Crazy that Volkswagen group owns multiple different car brands yeah there the worst out of them all.
Tommy has a tattoo?! WHAT IS HAPPENING??
US banned Chinese programmers from engineering the software, so this car may be banned.
Great? You have no standards....
