      Foxconn will now build the“World's Largest” NVIDIA Superchip Production Facility in Guadalajara, Mexico.
      She will start production of electric cars now that more lithium was found in MX.
      In 15 days of government she brought 20 billion of investment. Peso has been more stable than ever.

    My biggest concerns going forward will be.
    1. Can Mexico pump their oil? Output has been decreasing.
    2. Will Mexico be able to be cleaner? The energy industry is built on old dirty technology. Can Mexico find the money to help their people without the shell game that is going on now? I am a dual citizen and want Mexico and the US to do well. All my life I have been working in the US and sending money to Mexico. I don’t want to retire to Mexico and have to send money to the US.

    Jose, I'm curious about whether Mexico has seen the same issue with the substantial increase in the minimum wage over the last 5 or 6 years as Canada has.
    In Canada, whenever minimum wage is increased, business owners, both large and small, increase the prices of whatever they're peddling, in order to compensate for whatever that wage increase is. The owners, even of large businesses, are unwilling to take the hit in their own wallets, so they put the prices up, essentially rendering the wage increase useless to anyone who received it. The cost of daily life increases with every minimum wage "hike".
    Do you think that has been a factor in the rise in the cost of living in Mexico? I know a lot of people would prefer to blame the sharp increase in the number of foreigners coming to live in Mexico for the cost of living going up, but I have to wonder if the huge jump in minimum wage isn't more to blame, with business owners having to raise prices in order to keep pace. Thoughts?

    • @JoseArteagaTravels
      @JoseArteagaTravels  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes Mexico has seen a substantial increase in the minimum wage and in all wages across the board. I think it has contributed some to the price increases but I think most of the price increases have been mostly due to inflation. But since Mexico didn't take on as much debt as other countries have during the last 5-6 years the increase in prices have kept pace with the increase in wages so things are not out of hand. Even though most things have gone up in price, wages are much better than they were before and therefore most people are actually making more and are doing much better all around.

      @@JoseArteagaTravels That's good to hear, Jose! Thanks for the response.
      I was very curious, being a minimum wage worker in the service industry. Every time we get a raise, it feels like I'm making less, because prices go up. Lol. It sucks. I'm glad to hear it's not the same case in Mexico! I like hearing that people can actually enjoy those wage raises! 😊

    ...Observers say that grounding showed itself in Sheinbaum’s actions as mayor during the COVID-19 pandemic, when her city of some 9 million people took a different approach from what López Obrador espoused at the national level.
    While the federal government was downplaying the importance of coronavirus testing, Mexico City expanded its testing regimen. Sheinbaum set limits on businesses’ hours and capacity when the virus was rapidly spreading, even though López Obrador wanted to avoid any measures that would hurt the economy. And she publicly wore protective masks and urged social distancing while the president was still lunging into crowds." - Article from APNews

Her job is to slowly, step, by step indoctrinate the people into accepting the narratives and to normalize non-traditional (leftist) ideals, especially to the younger population in order to prime/prep the minds of the younger/next generation, as they are the ones who are more easily indoctrinated. 65 years of misery thanks to USA with the their stupid sanctions, the country that invaded countries in the name of democracy, but when almost all the countries voted in favor of stopping the sanctions USA never does, same story with the conflict in Palestine, but the situation with Mexico is completely different now. BTW we are tired of hearing that we are going to be Venezuela, for the past 6 years, more and more people believe less that argument
