I love this video so much information. I have never been to Mexico but I have been researching Mexico for possibly retiring in Mexico. What money do I need in my bank to do a move to Mexico?
You should not give the wrong information to all these people I am 60 years old Retired the Mexican consulate Denied me temporary residency Visa I was a $100 short of their monthly requirement 1:03:35 denied me at 60 years old
We don't give the wrong information about consulates. We mention the fact that consulates all do whatever they want and follow their own rules all the time. I have made countless videos explaining this to the audience and also giving them various solutions to getting residency. If the consulate you went to denied you over 100 bucks then you need to go to another consulate or use another method of obtaining residency. We can not be held responsible for all of the Mexican Consulates in the world and how each individual consulate chooses to interpret the law. Thank you for understanding.
What can my cousin's daughter do ? My cousin's daughter has been in Mexico City since March 2018. She came because her best friend had to have operations. She has been staying there to continue to help her and never left. Can she apply for the RNE PROGRAM ? Really appreciate your help and would like to hire Jose Novelo.
That is wonderful! I personally do not help anyone but i have a team of individuals who would be more than happy to help such as Jose Novelo. For a full list of Lawyers, assistance and more please check out my website for more information www.josearteaga.com/
51:10 just apologize and ask for the ticket. They may want to confiscate your drivers license, thats fine, let them take it, you will get it back from the traffic police station when you go and pay the fine. Now, hopefully they dont threaten to confiscate your car because they can do that if you’re drunk or something serious like that, or if its a verry corrupt officer trying to bluff you into giving them the “mordida” (bribe), in which case, don’t budge, stick to your guns and ask for the “multa” (ticket). This would be a rare situation really, the norm is they confiacate your deivers license temporarily until you go and pay the fine at the office. Thats it.
My girlfriend and I are looking to give birth either in Mexico or Brazil. Unfortunately her Philippines passport only allows Visa free travel to Brazil and not Mexico. Applying for a visa to Mexico is fairly challenging almost similar to the US. Would hiring a lawyer help?
1:02:30 “can tourists have guns” ? what kind of question is that, nowhere in the world is a tourist allowed to posses a firearm. Additionally, mexicans are allowed to own guns legally but with extreme limitations and hefty punishment if laws are broken. For one, theres only a limited selection of firearm caliber that is allowed (from a .22 to a .380 for handguns and some other low powered calibers for rifles and shotguns), secondly, there is only one place in the entire country where you’re allowed to buy firearms in mexico, and that is from a sanctioned military office in mexico city. Most notably, while citizens are allowed to own firearms at their residences for home protection, they are not allowed to carry for personal protection. There is a way to legally carry certain rifles and shotguns for hunting but thats it, there arent many shooting ranges in mexico. Finally, in practice its hard to rely on “self defense” in a legal situation, most often than not you’d be in a sea of trouble if you actually used a firearm to protect yourself or your home.
Does anyone know about Intercam Banco here in Mexico? I've heard it is a big deal for Expats/immigrants. I realize it is some kind of insurance/trust company functioning as a bank. I went there, but didn't really get answers to my questions 😒 Is it a dollar account with a debit card for peso purchases? I'd like a pure peso account, but am having to wait it out for the RNE Program 🍀🙏🍀
@JoseArteagaTravels when I found out that it is an American bank, I told their representative to delete my information out of their system. I HAD NOT ALREADY SIGNED THEIR CONTRACT. He told me that it is impossible to delete my info! What kind of ____ is that?

Why does it take so long to list a house for sale in Merida Centro
Great question! Sorry we didnt get to it this time around. I don't know the answer myself and would need to ask Jose Novelo
I've had houses listed in Centro in a matter of hours, a day at most.

What if you transfer money from your US bank account to your Mexican bank account?
You pay the vig to exchange from US dollars to MXN Pesos.
Right..lol...6/10%
@J.PaulLucas : what about it? whats your exact question? are you a dual citizen?
Not quite sure what the question is. If it is about Taxes, then NO you do not Get taxed on that transaction.
@@JoseArteagaTravels yes I meant taxes

Not quite sure I would ask Jose first if he can help and he will let you know

Intercam is mainly a bank used to facilitate money transfers. It is a Mexican account that is also linked to a US account.
I've been with Intercam for years. It's just a bank, in Mexico.

What if your parents are not married but the mom is Mexican and dad is American and don't know where he is.
Jose goes through that exact example in the video. It can be done, it just takes extra steps.
