@@tokumii3436 got accepted as a geography transfer to UCSB but I committed to a full ride at UCLA because housing is guaranteed : )
@@snowf6307 wow that's super exciting! congrats
Wish I could go back in time and live these 4 years all over. I’m now a dinosaur who graduated in 2006…
And I also did have my bike stolen once, in 2003, and got in exactly 1 bike accident.
How is the diversity in this univ? Are there any old buildings or most are modern? I am the only comment here, so would I get that magnet? 😅
mostly Asian and White. Mexican about 20%. Black less than 3%
I’m seriously conflicted between UCSB and umich any advice?
With respect to this video and the students on here, I would do University of Michigan. Ann Arbor is a great college town and you can just walk to all the shops and restaurants directly from campus. Has several older looking more classic college style buildings. Michigan has way bigger D1 sports in football, basketball, and hockey. Detroit is a phenomenal sports town. You're not far from Traverse City, the Upper Peninsula, Chicago, or Canada. Plus, I believe UMich is ranked higher on most lists. Having said that, what's right for you is right for you so if you see where you'll fit best just go for that. 👍
May i know the accommodation near by santa Barbara
Most students live in the adjacent community of Isla Vista (IV). First year students live on campus. There is a shortage of student housing. UCSB is trying to build a huge on campus dorm - "Mungerville"
