This boss is pretty easy if you use alhaitam, nahida, zhongli, and kuki. No need to worry about dying and the boss will die by the end of two rotation of alhaitam combo.
You can Cheese him with a bow dps (ganyu for example) and a shielder you Simply stand on the small ledge to the east so the beam doesnt Hit you and the other blast like think gets Absorbed by the shield.
What I did to solo it since I don't have a shield character built was use the terrain against it. Basically I lured it into a place where its attacks would be blocked completely and just stood there as Lyney firing arrows at it :) easy enough, just took a while. Kazuha also helped me keep it in position, but he wasn't totally necessary. As long as you have a bow user you should be fine after luring it away from the circle. Hope this helps someone!
@@jettsteel7305 Hmm. Honestly my only suggestion then would be trying to draw it into a position where its attacks can't hit you but you can hit it. I was kind of able to do that using Kazuha (Any other crowd control characters would work though) Or just really quickly falling down to it's level while it's blocked then jumping back up so it's attacks can't hurt you again. If you have characters with high enough HP that won't get totally oneshot by it, that tends to help too. I was able to at least take one hit from it as Benny with 26k hp... AOE bursting would also help a ton, if you have characters that do that or auto aim at enemies with attacks. Might take a while but it'd definitely be possible. I was able to hit it with a good few Benny bursts. Honestly it has stupidly high HP though-
@@idontcarrottall422 I have all the Anemo Bois (Kazuha, Xiao, Wanderer, Venti and Heizou, along with Traveler if needed) and Faruzan built, with Wanderer as my main DPS (Ayato is my other DPS, but he's useless in this 😭), and my Wanderer is squishy, with barely 15k HP, and Benny's Burst allows for vape for this boss

fought it in coop. I used Diona, and just kept shielding. My friend has her Xiao. Still took awhile before the boss went down. So much hp. And it has a scary attack that deals a ton of damage.
Full Geo team with gorou noelle albedo then C6 diona for EM boost, extra shield and heal makes this fight ez asf. Just face tank it with a jacked noelle then the em boosted crystallized (with diona C6) allows for a braindead face tanking fight against this mob. It just takes a long while, but atleast you're dealing dmg every second without worrying about dodging at all, or even worrying about refreshing your only shield source (zhongli)
this boss is really difficult if you take her from the front, massive hp and high attack, i attack this boss without knowing how hard it will be, i still win but what a fight.
imho this boss is a good boss to test your shield characters' builds loooool Managed to break down my Layla's shield but my Zhongli's stood perfectly against it. Managed to beat it with Yanfei, Keqing, Nahida and Zhongli.
This boss was fun. I used Zhongli, Geo Traveler, Mona, and Bennett. Geo Traveler E blocks her attacks and damages her if it explodes (easy 64k total damage each).
How to beat Viviane of the Lake with ease (in my case): Bring Bennett (or a buffer & healer) and 1 (or 2) geo character(s) (Preferably Someone like Albedo or Gorou if you have them). You simply need the hydro crystalized shield and some buff and heals to make the process easier (No Zhongli Shield required :) )
Holy shit took me 13 attempts solo. Team was diluc, bennet, Beidou, and fischl. Run away when it tries to blowup and run behind it when it shoots it’s balls of water.
I did it easily with Noelle and Bell, her shield + healing carried me through, overall it was really just a boring fight, just wailing at it for few minutes. I hate damage sponges so much.
If it had like, any attacks that would be hard to escape, but nope. You can just fly up with wanderer and this thing's AI disables itself. I dont know how people find it challenging😊

I build my Zhongli with 4 Tenacity hp time and geo goblet... and that MF shred it with ease
I put 2 of my best healers, Baizhu and Kuki ,together yet this thing manages to murder my Nahida and Alhaitham.

Same, I took ganyu and just hit it from above, it was stuck and couldn't attack
As someone who doesn't use charged attack bow users, guess I'll have to find another way 😭

My whole party was murdered when I went in unprepared. The second time went there with Zhongli and won.
I used itto zhong benny and xl its pretty easy cus itto could tank and generate water shield too, but ig not everyone have them

mine have 30k hp, can tank2~3 hits and it was enough to kill, but you need dodge the bubble atk

I'm a maniac and just did Keqing Baizhu Nahida Fischl and it was somewhat easy

You can easily cheese the boss. Go down hill, and just spam dendro reactions, and its second attack is stupidly easy to dodge. Just it.
