Louisiana duck hunt - teal season opener with a very special decoy!

Waterfowl hunting is rich in tradition and this duck hunt was extra special for us! Not only was it the teal season opener in Louisiana, but our hunt was the first stop on a nationwide journey for Pat Pitt's special decoy, Hemingway. Several members of Ducksouth were given the honor of hunting over this old decoy and recording about the hunt, camp life, etc in a journal before passing it along to its next stop. Kicking off that epic journey was something we'll never forget! There are so many time-honored traditions when it comes to duck hunting and being a part of something like this was incredibly special to us!
