Thank you for bringing in Kaylee. I loved this episode. Please have more episodes with her. It would be so beneficial to our Latin community on the importance of finance. Happy Friday!
I hate to admit that I wasn’t looking forward to this episode because finances sound boring but BOY did I enjoy this episode! I definitely want a pt 2 🤩
I’m like $50k in debt, but that’s because of law school and that’s nothing because most people in law school are like $150k in debt. I worked full time while going to law school just so I wouldn’t be in a deep debt hole like other students. I’m glad that people like her exist to educate the younger generation because this is not taught in at a young age.
I loved this podcast. Your friend gave out very interesting information. You two need to bring her back for a part 2. We are never too old to learn important information. I truly believe we learn something new everyday. Would also like to see Johnathan’s mom on the podcast again. She was great as well. Love your podcast.
I went to college right after high school and I got a loan of 35,000 at the time and I had no bills no nothing. My mom wouldn’t charge me rent and I paid half of it. I’m almost done with it and I’m currently 27 years old.❤
I love this!! Glad you got her on the podcast so our younger folks can get their life together to be able to be advocated by them self’s and for their financial self
She did so well my boyfriend learned from his debt mistake . He spent a whole year and a half just learning about finances and now I feel like I'm the one not budgeting cus he paid off all his debt and now deals with stocks and just got certified for financial accounting and omg it's so satisfying as an adult to hear how to manage money
Such a great episode! Thank you so much for bribing her in with a lot of knowledge to finances who out Latin/hispanic community needs. Please bring her in again truly appreciate it🫶🏽
I also have a savings for my children from the moment I found out I am pregnant I start saving for there future because us as Hispanics we have a bad habit of not saving for our children and then they can’t afford collage nothing
Is there like a class that the banks offer for 18 year olds to take and learn on financial independence. Cause high school don’t teach you 💩. Please let me know!!
The interest rates after COVID are killing me 😫 it seems I’m paying way more in interest vs what’s going to the payment. That’s with me paying almost double the minimum payment 🙁 I have a great credit score too but rates have gone up by 8-15% 🙁
I do have CC Debit and what worked for me was writing the amount I owed on each card and seeing the severity lol! I focus on paying one off a month. Some of us learn the hard way. Im glad I stopped it and caught it now rather than later im only 27!
If you don’t pay your CC in full every month , you aren’t a credit card person . I got my first cc at 30 when I became a sahm my hubs pays for it . But before I’ve never owned one, glad I didn’t . I’m 33 and no debt , my husband’s only debt is our mortgage . We are lucky to not have student loans or cc debt or car debt .
I learned the hard way was in debt in my early 20s had to repay an learned the hard way to pay so i was able to get my hous in my 30s i was in credit debt again and paid it off and know im 40 and credit free only have my house payment but obviously i didnt learn the first time but never again 🙃
🌸hi Blanca, you look so pretty! For sure that’s your style and colors. Have you done a color analysis? That would be interesting. Thank you for the video.
I am not in debt thank god but when I married my husband biggest mistake was not asking him about his debt and lord I was in for a surprise he was in debt with IRS with like 20,000 I was so mad but I have always been very good with money and I quickly got him in a payment plan and I made budget for us and thank god for that he is out of debt and we bought our first home last year I manage all the money but it’s easy to just swipe the credit card lol 😂 so I get it for some people
