- So, it seems the long anticipation for DJI’s next-generation Cinewhopp FPV drone will finally be over. More leaks have started emerging with each passing day, and we are expecting a big leap for the DJI avata 2 this year. Since the launch of DJI Avata, it has been “the drone to have'' due to its compact design, high-quality imaging, and user-friendly features. Already, an image of the drone packaging is being shared online, indicating that the drone is ready to go live, all you have to wait till the official event. So, let’s find out more about the DJI Avata 2, and also its release date.

We finally need a combo including the FPV controller. Only with the FPV controller, you can do the really important and fun stuff with the DJI Avata 2. I tested the first Avata with the motion controller. No fun at all if you are a real FPV pilot. If there will be no such combo, the FPV 3 controller should be available separately from the release date of the Avata 2. Fingers crossed...
I agree. I've had basically 0 flight time with the motion controller. I think it's great to let novice pilots try it out, but you buy this drone to fly in manual, so it's unfortunate it will likely require an additional purchase for full functionality.
@@southpawcinema8466 Rumor has it that you will be able to do such dives and rollovers with the Rc motion 3
I’m hoping for vertical shooting and dlog m 🙌
social media!!!
I hope its more quiet than the original avata.. And maybe the use of O4?
It is quieter
@@CaptureLifeConnection how do you know?
@@qwer55555555 you’ll see.
100% accurate info
@@CaptureLifeConnection i sure hope so
Bought my avata explorer combo 2 weeks ago and feel really happy.... avata 2 will wait for me !
You will not be disappointed. I purchased my Avata the first week it came out and I’m still having a blast.
The Avata 2 is an upgrade but not necessary. The original Avata is awesome.
@@CaptureLifeConnection im looking for googles. Goggles 2 are badly designed for a Caucasian faces
The biggest problem for me is the battery status when not in use for a month or more. Every time my battery is fully charge, the software status responds it needs to be discharged at 10% and then recharge again to 80% prior to taking flight. This is my gripe with this battery. Unlike my Air 2s or previous Mavic models, DJI needs to release a charger that will discharge and charge the batt units. Rather than powering on from the aircraft and waiting until it drains the battery.
I know. But tbh the avata was never mentioned to have good battery life, but max speed, resulting in heavier motors and lower efficiency
I hope it still compatible with DJI FPV remote controller 2
well, since it probably will have ocusync 4.0, i dont think controller 2 will be compatible. unfortunately
@@dnbsk8 DJI FPV is compatible with goggles 2 and controller 2 though
I can finally grab a avata for cheap lol
lol, facts! I might be selling mine. 🤔
Selling mine lol
@@NathanPhillipsPhoto I’m thinking about selling mine as well. The integra’s won’t work with the Avata 2. And the Avata 2 is a better drone overall. The original Avata is already collecting dust in my garage. I think it needs a new home 😁.
@@CaptureLifeConnectionI luckily made my money back on the first project with it. I liked it, but I’m always about the upgrading hype. 🤦♂️
@@CaptureLifeConnectioncan I buy it 😢
“A-vata”, the way you say it is like nails on a chalkboard
The road map says there's another avata being released in October?
Was it to hard to name it AvataR?????
the drone is rumoured to be 75g is heavier then its original, so while it may have slimmed down, its battery could have elongated and gained a slight capacity boost, the camera is supposed to be 1/1.3" not 1/1.7 so a slight increase.
I was curious about the DJI road map that shows AVATA releasing later in the year, if the Avata is due in april which makes sense given the FCC leaks, I wonder what that other Avata placeholder for September could be? a product or a placeholder, as the Dji pocket 3 also has a product launch even though it is already out..
Hopefully it will arrive in Indonesia soon
Dissappointed they didn't continue the bigger Goggles. I have a very strong eye correction and for me the new goggles are pretty much useless. Also, on the bigger goggles you can see more of the view without looking around too much, which was much better.
Curious on price and if cab use with avata 1 gigs and controllrr
I better not be forced to buy the Goggles 3 to fly the freaking Avata 2. Controller fine, but another $700 bucks because the Goggles 2 may not work with the new Avata would be utter Bowl Sheet!
Unfortunately, you will have to purchase the new goggles.
I am betting the Googles 2 will work, I did the last update on my Air 3 with 04, and the googles 2 work just fine with it.
Vertical image capturing
may be there will be some cropping features
would love to have the option of joystick or controller when purchasing fly more combo etc.
That would be cool!
18 min is plenty. DJI people desire so much from acro drones it’s insane can’t have it all.
It’s not plenty and yes we can have it all.. eventually…
well for the price they charge, we might as well have it all
It s actually 12 14 minutes
@@LDrift😂 bro you’re still learning manual let alone Acro! You’re a literal fetus 😅
@@bugsy742bro you’re literally getting on someone for learning… stfu and keep your opinions to yourself if you’re just gonna talk shit to someone for learning how to fly a drone.
Very good
Thanks
I have found an unboxing video like 5 minutes ago
It's too heavy. You got to register the drone. I'll pass.
Here in the uk all drones with a camera have to be registered. It’s no big deal. It’s £10 per year
Remote ID, is a pass for me. AVATA under 250g and no remote ID will sell like IN N OUT Burgers.
Talk about motion sickness with goggles on.
The only thing I'm scared of is the slim body and the possibility that it won't support the weight of a GoPro Hero 12 Mini, unless the camera got a major upgrade.
You will not need a GoPro. Unless you’re extremely picky.
It is almost the same quality as the action 4, so it will be as good as a GoPro or even better
Based on what I've read, the rocksteady and horizon steady EIS is getting a major upgrade from the original Avata. We will know more in a couple weeks but it could make gyroflow optional which would be great to cut out an extra step for great footage.
sub 250g
