This however counts for Magicka builds. Stamina builds it's not easy at all to account for this. Not without losing a lot of damage at least. Shouldve made it cost both magicka and stamina at better balanced cost rates.
For the mage light thing.. nah it’s good the way it is. Any decent pvp player with a brain will have detection pots that have a base 43 meter detection radius, flare, dots ect.
Does this change thief/assassin builds where we no.longer build for stealth radius detection reduction, instead just build for durlock's brae for infinite invisibility and the rest is mobility for example?

I don't get the point of this change, the problem is CROUCHING, sure NB Invis should get the Sorcerer Streak treatment, but it doesn't matter. Your idea of stronger detection skills is also a good way, they are way too expensive with short durations and ranges atm.
Ah! none of it matters, more of the same every update and learn to adapt or bother yourself with negativity. The game is 10 years old and they need money for a sequel if there is to be one.
It is now a toggled skill, draining from your magicka resource every 2 seconds. The magicka restoration while moving has been completely nullified, effectively making sustain while moving harder to keep up with. This was done for PvP mostly, as it effects those players the most. As with everything you can mix and match other skills and gear to mitigate the higher costs.
This is why games should separate pve and pvp with nerfs/buff. I know it is not the easiest thing to do, but we are almost in 2025, so there is not really an excuse
To please the bulk of other players that can't concieve of the concept that you can either have infinite stealth or actually have a build that can kill things. Do same to camo hunter as well like with magelight, and make it to where it wipes buffs pertaining to stealth and invisibility when detected and snares/immobilizes targets. Might sound like overkill but if they keep this I see it as a way of at least having something to counteract the power this has. I don't want them to completely gut abilities but at the same time some do need a reason to stay on our bar.
You obviously don't PvP with a Nightblade. No serious Nightblade PvPer has a build with 2000+ Magicka recovery. Go try to PLAY it on PTS, not just run around in your house.
