Obviously, the piano was going to win. That's not even fair, lol
Shout out to Mr. Tuba. I didn't even know they could get up there!
I play tuba i could almot certainly play even higher
I believe it's an Eb tuba, which allows for much easier upper ranges, and would explain the shallow lower range. Still impressive, though.
Piano part was a joke
organ entered the chat
As a bassoonist, we can go way higher than what is shown in the video. If I press the reed very hard I can play in the range of a standard piccolo, although it is hard to move between them and they are inconsistent.
okay but props to the sax player for just straight hitting that altissimo
he just bit the reed, he didnt do altissimo
@@chyimvanmeter1917I mean yeah, but it's voicing and stuff too, same technique as altissimo, just sloppy because it's not trying to be in tune or anything, just high
nobody pointed out how either a. they got the notes wrong or b. thats an alto with a low a key
@@yobognob they got the note right just use low Bb then you can get a by obstructing the bell
@@yobognob yeah you play a low Bb but then put something in the bell and it’ll give you an A
I've seen tubas play the full range of a piano lmao. That tuba player was good! Expected more from the horn though, I've seen horns go way lower.
I can go lower than that and I’m a high schooler. Problem is you never play that low in music so learning to do it is just to flex your range, not too crazy for them to have just never learned.
@@orangepacker7479 well it's a range challenge
@@jeffrey8893 I know what 8vb means, I've seen tubas player higher than what he played.
@jacks’ shorts :D it's concert pitch bud, that would be high Eb above the staff in F Transposition, I doubt any middle school music will have anything near it.
Same here, I'm a high schooler and i can go both higher and lower
The piano guy walked past and beat everyone so effortlessly, idk why but I burst out laughing
It was how he did it. He walked past like he had better things to do and kept up that pace off screen.
I was amazed how easy the tuba player made it look to get up there
that tuba sound was powerful!
Yup I feel the rolling up to the highest note on the bassoon part, but I can always pop out a low Bb lol. 😂
The bluntness of the piano was wild 🥲
i love the saxophone
Thanks i play alto sax
I didn't know a tuba had such a wide range
The high note on the screen was wrong it is supposed to be like 5 notes higher
@@Damnymoran80 no thats an F
@@antaresbump6522 oh wow but how is that the highest note if I can go higher as a freshman
@@Damnymoran80 You can play higher than an F5 at the top of the treble clef as as a freshman playing a BBb tuba?…no you cant lmao
@@antaresbump6522 ya In my solo I have a high c above the staff
That tuba can play higher than me with my trumpet hell nah
F on the staff is your highest note on trumpet?
Aren't trumpets expected to reach the Bb above that
(I'm not transposing because this video isn't transposing)
@@carriedthunder3883 yeah man, I'm a noob 😢
@@WallyInfinite yes they are, I'm simply not good enough
@@WallyInfiniteI’d say even higher than that. I’ve seen trumpet music as a high schooler that goes up to the f above that one. However I can also get being capped at top line f as I was for like two years because I didn’t practice 😂
Technically all brass has an infinite range on the high end, as the only limiting factor is embouchure of the player. I can hit 6 octaves on trombone
True
Well eventually it is impossible tho cause our lips can’t do it
@@talkingweevil3172 skill Issue
@@SMCwasTaken no it is just impossible not skill issue our lips are not capable of hitting notes at a certain point
Pipe organ has left the chat
oh god…
9 octaves no problem
a pipe organ isn’t apart of a band though it’s mainly played solo
killing me by having the piano in there lol
I found that you can lower the sax's usually low Bb to an A by playing with your leg covering the bell
Yeah i play sax you don’t need to cover your leg to play b flat it’s the last table key on your left hand
@@rgv_lvcid7541 Sorry I put it in a weird way I was saying you can play a low A by covering your leg
@@besapods5539 just got to block the bell cover it in any way you’ll get A
Me who plays bari 👀
Pianist was like, "I ain't got time for this. I'll be impressed if you exceed this!"
i love these
Thank you LOL I play bassoon and I love to see more bassoon content ❤
The bassoon has way more range than I thought it did lol
Piano man has such a refined sound 😂
Yess I've been waiting for this
Bro, that low note on the tuba sounded like a cat's purr
Tuba got that healing effect
Part 3 please!
YESS ❤❤❤
*organist entered the chat
Yes, more plz with percussion as mallets
MORE
Fun fact, if you roll a paper on top of the basson (like you did on the sex) it can reach a lá instead of the si b
Love it. Tuba guy ftw
You can go much higher on the Bassoon, I've seen one playing louder than the Flute
french horn could definitely play higher but thats cool
Why did the sax player only do a A when there’s low Bb
PART 3!!!
You guys seriously need to do flute from B3 to F#7 (or G7) (or higher!)
That piano got me, lol
Bro became a helicopter
Some horn solos require the hornist to play way higher than an Ab, for example, binary sunset by John Williams requires the hornist to play a high D.
Percussion next timme😂
Definitely a fun challenge! The Army Band rocks!!
euphonium: hold my beer
I’m a bassoon player and I read the second note (F) as if it was in bass clef and was thinking to myself “how is that our highest note, have I been playing my instrument wrong this whole time) 😂😂. Moral of the story’ check! The! Key! Signature! 😅
Bass and guitar harmonics have left the chat.
The tuba low note sounds kinda like my cat purring lol
Wow your cat can sing low
Would y’all be able to do baritone saxophone or even bass saxophone
Very nice 👍
I can yell by the pianist he has been waiting for this moment his whole entire life😂😂
Didn’t know saxophones only could play down to an a A
thats what im saying
The note showed was in bass clef. so it was actually a low c. treble clef and bass clef have their notes on different lines and stuff so i could see the confusion
@@Noah_Piihl oh idk why they showed bass clef when saxophone plays in treble
@@Xezrxym they put it in the bass clef because the note they played was so low that it was in the bass clef, and it’s easier to write it that way instead of put all the ledger lines below the treble clef
@@Noah_Piihl no they showed it in concert pitch that’s a A on sax and can be reached by fingering low Bb and obstructing air because the lowest alto c is a octave above the c shown in Eb
Buddy hit the alto High note and all four of my saxophones started crying, including me
Props to my guy on the tuba 💪
Bflat contrabass clarinet with the low c extension
*laughs in cellist* (C2 - ~E6 on the fingerboard, C2-C8 with harmonics)
Tuba sounds like a cat purring I’m scared😭🙏🏾
That walk
The french horn got impressively far down, but the high could be even more. I myself am getting there in the moment, but I know people who can go higher
Organist - hold my beer
wheres my low brass section group?
that tuba went higher than i can play on trumpet
An F on the staff?
i have 4 and a half octives on clarinet as a junior
As a horn player, I can confidently say that the range of a horn is a lot higher and lower.
Flute, and oboe, and any other kinds of flutes like picolo, alto, and contrabass if you have them
The horn can actually play higher but it’s incredibly difficult. Just serch up Binary Sunset horn in f part
One more!
Ivw been playing euph for 6 years and I can play from a tubas standard Bball the way up to a trumpets 3rd octave Bb, aka the Bb right before a screamer for them. I've gotta work on my low range more but my high range is there fs.
I nearly had a heart attack when I saw him put the tuba down. It looked like it was about to fall on the ground and break
Baritone Sax with Leo P playing it
Damn that tuba sounded like he was singing through it
FLUTE PLEASE
Ok why did the French horn sound like a trombone when it went really low
Piano is the best just walking by😂😂😂😂😂😂
if you get a longer paper you can probably get down to another half step or even a whole step
tuba high note was impressive
I didn't know horn had such a limited high range for a treble clef instrument
Cloning mine, clarinet, metal music
Once again. PERCUSSION FTW
the bassoonist could have overblowed the low f fingering to get a decent high high b flat fingering. it works!
The sad can actually go lower than a c since it can go down to a Bb or even an A if you have really good bending abilities
yall got any alto clarinetss by chance😅?
What an altissimo
Ofc he made a noise into the tuba
The last guy just screamed into it
How does an alto go that high, thought the highest was f sharp
PART 3
Im the piano guy Lol 😂
MORE BASSOON PLS
the alto can play lower
both notes were an octave higher in the staff than they should be
Besides the piano, 4 Valve Brass Instrumemts:
😐
🎷😎
Goo sax goo
Have they done bass clarinet range yet? If not i want you guys to do one please 😭😭
Can you do the clarinet in the next range video?
It was in the previous one
@@finnsclarinet oh I see it now thx a lot
Please do a euphonium
Hold up did that Tuba player just play an F0? 😳😳😳
BASS CLARINET PLEASE
Bass clarinet also has a range of five octaves
Bassoons range is higher than that. The highest note this guy played was E5, F5 is the highest note standard in repertoire. I can hit G5 reliably and the highest note I've played is C6
You should do bass clarinet
French horn can go higher, i get to the c above staff (concert pitch) with would be g for horns in f
Contrabas sax next?
Cmon the horn can go like a whole nother octave higher
Low c bass clarinet. I can get about 5 and a half octaves really easily
Baritone/euphoniums also have a very impressive range
